Old Man
I would. I know Brian Johnson's voice is a dealbreaker for many, but behind it is some truly outstanding blues rock that has no business coming out of Australia. That was almost as weird as Iggy Azalea is today.

For Old Man. Billy Thorpe's Most People I know most people I know think that I'm crazy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fkj3gWqwuLw The other songs from the albums are worth listening to as well. The music is from Sunbury in 1972 which in broad terms was an "Aussie Woodstock". It showcased Aussie music to Australians and that it was just as good as international acts. Billy Thorpe and the live album from the concert "Live At Sunbury", ruled Aussie music at that time -- there was no-one bigger than Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs (yes even AC/DC). I think they may have even made the Guiness Book of Records for being the loudest band at that time too.
Bazza
Chain - Black And Blue The band members of that incarnation of Chain (it is 35+ members in its history) are: Matt Taylor, Phil Manning, Barry Harvey, Barry Sullivan. Taylor has played with a wide range of Australian artists, including: Phil Manning, Dave Hole, Lucky Oceans, Broderick Smith, Lobby Loyde and Greg Lawrie. He has supported major American blues artists like B.B. King, Albert King, Freddie King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Willie Dixon, Albert Collins. Albert Collins said of him: “You play the blues, but it’s like no other blues I’ve ever heard in my life”.[1] And there is the same song by Manfred Mann Earth Band played on Swedish tv in 1973. Bazza
So there you go, as you can see AC/DC wasn't unique, there were many artists playing the same music, that we call Pub Rock (that others call Aussie Rock). Hope you enjoyed it.
Cancer
Place of origin is not usually something that sticks with me for popular music I like. I knew about AC/DC and Manfred Mann, but they've been around forever.
