I would.  I know Brian Johnson's voice is a dealbreaker for many, but behind it is some truly outstanding blues rock that has no business coming out of Australia.  That was almost as weird as Iggy Azalea is today.

Can I suggest, Chain, Spectrum, Billy Thorpe, there was an whole scene of that in Melbourne that AC/DC came from. So not surprising at all, really.

The other songs from the albums are worth listening to as well. The music is from Sunbury in 1972 which in broad terms was an "Aussie Woodstock". It showcased Aussie music to Australians and that it was just as good as international acts. Billy Thorpe and the live album from the concert "Live At Sunbury", ruled Aussie music at that time -- there was no-one bigger than Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs (yes even AC/DC). I think they may have even made the Guiness Book of Records for being the loudest band at that time too.

Chain - Black And Blue

The band members of that incarnation of Chain (it is 35+ members in its history) are: Matt Taylor, Phil Manning, Barry Harvey, Barry Sullivan.

Taylor has played with a wide range of Australian artists, including: Phil ManningDave HoleLucky OceansBroderick SmithLobby Loyde and Greg Lawrie. He has supported major American blues artists like B.B. KingAlbert KingFreddie KingMuddy WatersBuddy GuyWillie DixonAlbert Collins.

Albert Collins said of him: “You play the blues, but it’s like no other blues I’ve ever heard in my life”.[1]

And there is the same song by Manfred Mann Earth Band played on Swedish tv in 1973.
