James Gillen
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Okay, I should have said... because I care about this thread. The objective is to make this the longest running thread ever. Pictures of girls will attract more people. Have another picture: I'd hit that. zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Oh' date=' and for reference, here is an example of g-chan who is my favorite cosplayer. Of course that probably has something to do with the fact, she has cosplayed as a Final Fantasy 5 character which no one else, to my knowledge has done. If I get rep for this post, I'll provide a direct link. [/quote'] Thsi is a great one, I like several of the others and have seen "cosplay" material elsewhere. EDITED - I see the cosplay explanation now. Thanks.
zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Oh my ever loving... my friend has apparently created an account as as we speak is replying in Burning Times. I expect to see a totally chaotic outburst in that thread soon. Hey, take it to Random Musings!

zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER ah! ^^ well, the "^^" stuff is cause i really don't like to use smilies all that much. and, i watch a lot of anime and so, to me, "^^" or "^_^" looks more like a real happy face than a round one...sad, but true ^^ as far as the rare capitalization goes, you're actually the first ever person to ask me that so wai! i get to tell the story! finally! okay, so, when i was a little girl and my daddy was teaching me how to type, i knocked over my can of pop that i wasn't supposed to have in his office and got one of his keyboards all sticky. as punishment for illegally possessing a can of pop and messing up one of his pieces of equipment, that was the one he made me use to learn to type. aaand, wouldn't ya know, i shorted out the shift keys ^^ so, i just got used to not even hitting them since they weren't going to work anyway, and the habit just stuck with me. it really sucks when i DO have to use it ((like when writing a paper or something)) because i have to really think about it every single time. ~_~ however! if my lack of capitalization is annoying already, i'll try to fix it...i dunno what i can do about the "^^"s cause i really like using it... aya, and i apologize in advance for my annoying perkiness. it bothers a lot of people on the net, and i try to tone it down a bit, but sometimes it leaks through, so gomen. ^^ Your perkiness isn't annoying, or the other stuff. I just wanted to chime in I didn't even think of the anime thing and was interested to see the reason why you use a different set of emoticons. As to the non-capitalization, interesting story, I wouldn't even think to have asked as I have so many friends who don't capitalize (some are just big on equalizing language, some don't like the capitalization of "I" and extend that...) BoneDaddy
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Roman Polanski only a 4? I would think staying out of the US to avoid prosecution for defiling a minor would rate a guy higher than that. Oh, and as for me, 1-3 in real life, 11 in my dreams... Bill_CCHKK
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So who likes coffee and how do they like it? I like my coffee like I like my women -- cold and bitter Coffee is my friend. I usually drink 2 to 4 14-oz. mugs a day. We get decent coffee at work, but I'm not a coffee snob, so I'll drink pretty much anything. Lots of sugar and fake creamer, until it's a nice light tan and tastes like coffee ice cream that's been melted and heated up (well, not quite, but you get the idea). I also really like the Vietnamese coffee where they take espresso (or something else very strong) and pour it over sweetened, condensed milk. You then mix that and pour it over ice. Delicious! Anyone know exactly how to make that at home? What specific type of coffee, milk, etc.?
BoneDaddy
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER my wife bought me an ibrik and some turkish coffee for my birthday. Now I want my coffee no other way. I still drink it plenty other ways, however.
Super Squirrel
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I used to drink coffee with a little bit of sugar. But since a study showed that people who drink 3-4 cups of black coffee a day are 57% less likely to develope diabetes, I have been drinking my coffee black. Unless I buy it at work which tastes like bile if you don't get sugar into it.

zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So who likes coffee and how do they like it? If it's necessary, with chocolate. Or if for some odd reason (hangover, exhaustion) that's not an option, lots of artificial sweetener and cream.

Sorry! I was, for humor's sake, going down the same path but accidentally switched "horses" mid-stream. Still, I'd like to think that for his online persona Rage would prefer to be thought of as a non-babysitting type. But I'm sure in real life he'd be great - as I imagine Mightybec would be as well.
