Bazza
Building up to be an Iron Man*. ____ *Was thinking about the Aussie Iron Man competition not the superhero.
L. Marcus
There are Iron Man competitions all over the world, I think.
Pariah
Indeed there are. The closest I'm likely to get to being an Iron Man is figuring out how to get the wrinkles out of my tan dress pants.

Pariah
I was riding the train today when the police officers came on to check everybody's passes. Two women in my car hadn't paid to ride. One was young, probably late teens, and cute by pretty much any definition. The other was older, probably mid to late 20s, and not as conventionally attractive. The police allowed one of the two to continue riding with just a warning. They pulled the other one off the train and issued her a citation, which usually run between $80 and $100. Any guesses which one got which treatment?
Bazza
I'm curious which.
Pariah
The young, cute one with the too-tight shorts (seriously, wedgie much?) and the low-cut top was the one allowed to keep riding. I wish I were young and cute enough to ride for free.
Cancer
Given that kids under 6 ride free, I haven't been that young in more than 55 years.
Pariah
I have become convinced that someone made an extensive study to determine the ideal time necessary to wash and rinse one's hands...and then programmed the automatic faucets in the new science building bathrooms to 0.85 of that value. Bazza
We just call them "taps" because "faucet" is a longer word. And sounds French. I guess if the tap won't give you water you have to faucet. tkdguy and Pariah 1
