Menagerie: Wouldn't give a damn. No mutant worthy of the name would need it and no human should have it.

Pinnacle: The choice would weigh very heavily on her mind. She would ponder and ponder the right choice, but eventually decide fate would provide and keep it for the proper time.

Stopwatch: Would hate it. She's naturally irresponsible. She'd probably hand it to the nearest passer by just to be rid of it.

Gaia: Can bestow powers anyway this would be nothing new...

Millennium: As the current incarnation of The Hero With a Thousand Faces, he would see this as the way of empowering his sucessor. He would start looking for canidates to pass it on to.

Iron Will: A quadroplegic, would be tempted to use it himself to see if it would buy off some of his physical disads. If he resisted the tempation (or it didn't work), would look for a worthy recepient among sick / crippled children. "Hello? Make A Wish Foundation? Some of you clients want to be honorary police or firefighters, any of them express an interest in being a superhero?"

Cheetah: Great. Another enhancement. Could give it to some promising athlete and screw over his carreer the way Cheetah's was. Would probably look among retired heroes and athletes for a worthy recepient.

Snow Leopard: Consult Beast and Professor X for a worthy recepient among M.O.N.S.T.E.R. or the GeneGoths.

Dolphin: Just hang on to it. "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear" and vice versa. He will know the proper recepient when he meets him, her, or it.

Golden Eagle, would determine that it is an inert amulet, and grudgingly give it to the Avenger, his mystically inclined teammate.

The Protector would use it to heal a neighborhood kid crippled by a stray bullet. He has no powers beyond his martial arts training and superb athletic conditioning, but if it would heal the lame...

Toreador would wait until a protege emerged, preferably a latino boy who was struggling to stay out of the gangs. He would call him Picador.

Bouncer would put it in his pocket until he saw an opportunity to use it...

Daniel Knight: He would have a private conversation with his sister in law. He will tell her that if something was trying to attack him through the ones he loved that this was her emergency back up. This is one of those break glass in case of emergency type of situations to protect herself and his nephew.

Like that one a lot!

Powers as strong as her own? That should be new.

A very POWERFUL new villain is on a rampage with 20d6 electrical blasts and a strange shield that seemingly makes him immune to damage. However, being the hero you are, you eventually over come this guy. As soon as he's helpless, there is a crackling sound, the bolts and shield disappear a voice goes "I Zeus, thank you for the return of my lightning bolts and aegis. As a reward, I give you power for power, to bestow upon who you will."

An amulet appears, and 'Zeus' continues, "Give this to whoever you will, and they may join you in super heroing, should they be old, this will youthen them, should they be weak, this shall strengthen them, should they be ugly and a woman... ugh. This will definitely fix that too. They shall have powers to rival yours. We are even, farewell."

In short, a voice claiming to be Zeus has just given your character a means of making a super hero. Any mystical senses/study show it holds great power waiting to be bestowed, any high tech one shows it to be made of gold and diamond but other than that ordinary.

What would your character do with it? If anything?

Gwen the fairy:... *scratches head* Ummm... who should I give it to, Soldier? (Soldier is another super hero in our group.)

Cannis: Looks over the amulet with curiosity, feeling very tempted to try using it on herself and see if it would increase her own power. After a moment’s thought she instead smiles and puts it securely in one of her belt pouches. Later that evening she puts it in a box and wraps it in colorful paper and sets it on the shelf in her closet. When Adam’s birthday or Christmas rolls around, her expression is very satisfied. ~What do you give the man who has everything. An amulet from the gods.~ (Since he is far more powerful than her, he wouldn’t need it for himself, but he could provide it to someone he felt was worthy of it.)

Sailor Io: ~Yet another myth proven true. I wonder who we’ll end up meeting next.~ She heads back to her dorm room and calls a Senshi meeting. First, she would ask Magnus (the team’s mage) to take a look at it and see if it would do what Zeus said it would and that its isn’t some sort of magical trap. Then she would have a discussion with all the Senshi and animal companions trying to determine who they should give the amulet too. In response to Sailor Moon’s insistence that the amulet be given to Darien, she would attempt to explain “Just so that your boyfriend can be a knight isn’t enough of a reason.†Already prepared for Moon’s reaction, Io subtly hands out ear plugs to the rest of the Senshi until the screaming wail and fountain of tears has died down to a more tolerable level. After spending 30 minutes handling the temper tantrum, Io once again tries to get the conversation back on track. Ultimately the group will probably decide to store the amulet somewhere safe until they can find the right person to give it to.
