Kyle A.
I've looked through all of my Hero books going back to the 4th Edition and I can find where it says how much damage a pip does. Can anyone help me?
Edsel
Re: What is a pip and how much damage does it do? A pip is one point. Each dot on a standard die is called a pip. Doing a pip of damage is the same as rolling a 1 on a die.

Chris Goodwin
Re: What is a pip and how much damage does it do? More specifically, one pip refers to one BODY, one END, or one STUN; 3rd edition and earlier called them pips to alleviate confusion when talking about "points" of them. I mean, one point of BODY costs two points? Nan desu ka? I have to admit, it sounds better than "levels", though.
Sean Waters
Re: What is a pip and how much damage does it do? A pip the the somewhat ligneous seed of the apple and other fruit. Normally it does no damage at all, unless you are allergic to them in which case it probably has an NND attack. There are rumours that some pips now have superpowers, which means we may have to take them more seriously in future. Damage of up to 14d6 killing has been reported in the more serious cases. BEWARE! Edsel
Re: What is a pip and how much damage does it do? I think that there used to be an old Marvel or DC character named Pip the Troll, I wonder how much damage he could do?

Now if Thor used him as a club...quite a bit, I'd imagine!

Guest C--
Re: What is a pip and how much damage does it do? Once Pip got brought back to life in the Infinity Gauntlet story, he bumped up to about Spidey-level strength.

prestidigitator
Re: What is a pip and how much damage does it do? Doesn't a pip equal one Damage Class? For Killing Attacks, the first DC does, "1 pip". The second does 1/2d6, and the third does 1d6. The fourth DC does 1d6+1, which could also be stated as 1d6 plus one pip. However, this is not true of Normal Attacks, where the first DC is 1d6, not a pip. Two DCs are not two pips for a Killing Attack, either; they are 1/2d6.
