Dust Raven
Re: Name This Gun Looking over recent responses, I kinda like Anti-Pyrotechnic Weapon and Situational Response Device. How about SAPS - Situational Anti-Pyrotechic System? Sounds techy, and has a neat acronym anyway... but it does seem to imply I should include some kind of Drain instead of a Dispel... oh well. PhilFleischmann
Re: Name This Gun It's not really anti-pyrotechnic unless it stops fireworks or other explosives. It seems that it just stops orinary fire, pyro-, not pyrotechnic. Of course, that doesn't have to change the acronym. How 'bout: Situational Anti- Fire Emergency Responce - S.A.F.E.R. Situational Anti- Volitile Energy Responce - SAVER When coming up this names like this, I often like to work backwards from the acronym I want, so that it spells something the works. Like UNTIL, SHIELD, etc.

What I'd like is something that ends up reading TORCH or something like that, but I can't think of anything that would fit in.
