Stupid or silly WWYCD's

Recommended Posts

For all the WWYCD's that we haven't put a lot of thought into, and won't, i.e. because it isn't worth it. Also for all the WWYCD's that you're afraid would get you killed if you posted one more as its own thread ;)

When you post a new WWYCD here, please use a new (and unique) subject line. When you reply to one of the WWYCD's, please preserve the old subject line. This should help keep track of which one we're replying to. Thanks.

WWYVD - trapped between a rock and a hard place

You have opened an interdimensional portal, found an endless army of brutal monsters, and bribed them with offers of loot and rapine. Also, you Indirectly burned their homes to the ground to ensure that they couldn't remain behind in their own world. Watching them approach the portal where you will transport them back, you grow vaguely uneasy. When they get close enough to make out the angry stomping of feet and see the angry looks on their faces, you begin to realize that something is seriously wrong. And just when they begin to charge at you, you hear their high priests reciting your magically discovered crimes against their people through a magical loudspeaker.

Turning to flee back through the portal, you see an all-too-familiar dark and forboding figure on the other side, waiting for you with a grim expression on his stony face.

So - there you are, trapped between an army of a few million orcs, and the Batman.

What Would Your Villain Do?

Take my chances with Batman. If I surrender quickly enough, I might not even get beat up before he sends me to Arkham. With the Orcs, I'd get torn limb from limb while being given a size 13 poop-chute.

WWYCD: Super Pets Assemble!

Your character combats an ancient Native American evil spirit and after the first encounter he/she begins to realize that he is getting weaker by the day. After consulting the the tribal medicine man of the closest tribe, he/she is informed that they can draw on the strength of a spirit totem, and that should they come across the help of an animal, perhaps that is their totem and they should not refuse help.

During the climactic battle, your hero is weakening by the moment until sudddenly, an animal arrives on the scene and assists. Coincidence or fate, he's here and the tide of battle is turned. Thereafter, he becomes your crime-fighting sidekick.

What is your new super-pet and what do you decide to call him?

It's a dark-grey timber wolf. I name him Shadow, because of his dark coloring.

Re: Poop in the air

Your character is flying high above the city in his/her brand-new' date=' one-piece, zip-up-the back spandex outfit, when suddenly he/she experiences a lower intestinal urgency. What does he/she do?[/quote']

Use the team's vehicle's "facilities."

And then rip off the silly outfit, tear it with her claws, stomp on it, and refuse to wear it ever again. Her fur covers the "important parts."

She can be talked into shorts (with hole for her tail) and bandeau when necessary, but whoever talked her into a one-piece spandex rig is going to have some 'splainin' to do. :eg:

WWCD: Teammate costume slippage

The latest villains are vanquished. The loyal memebers of the Fourth Estate have arrived. You, and your team are being vanquished. Then you notice, one of your teammates has had some costume slippage (e.g. a female teammate's nipple is exposed because her decollatage slipped; your male teammate in shortpants, al la Robin or Namor, has had part of his package slip out) and they haven't notice. If you say something to them, the cameras will surely notice them and their reactions, drawing attention to the expose. If you say nothing, their goods will remain exposed. What do you do?

Hmm . . . Kaja opposes technology, so he "accidentally" targets the cameras for his next attack :D

The Comic

You just took on a villain who demonstrated an almost supernatural knowledge of you and what what you were going to do next. Just as he has you on the ropes and is about to finish you off, you manage to just barely escape at the last moment. Suddenly his confidence vanishes, and he hastily vanishes, leaving something behind. It's a comic book which details everything that just occured in omniscient detail right up until the last moment when the comic book ended with a cliffhanger that made your counterpart appear to be doomed. The book gives very little information about your adversary, nothing you didn't see for yourself, but reveals details of your personal life.

Re: The Comic

Uncle Slam has many comics made about his life, though certainly government classified details would be left out, such as his love affair with the queen of Atlantis back during WW II and the son he isn't even aware of.

So should something classified show in the comic book it would trouble him greatly. But he'd try to use the comic to diagnose when the opponent would strike next so that he may properly converse with him, and if necessary, pummel him senseless.

Anthem doesn't have much that's hard to find out; It can already be found out that her father is a low-level supervillain who is jailed and that she has a number of friends who have vanished without a trace. She'd find it troubling if the book pointed out weaknesses, but they wouldn't be anything she wasn't already working on. She'd likely have to wait until he made another attempt and then throw in some unexpected moves; Something she hasn't done previously.
