Ok its my first go at making a character so be gentle.

 

She is supposed to be Support to the rest of the team

Is Drain ranged?

 

The EM language is listed, but doesn't say which language?

 

I'm a little fuzzy on the disadvantage on the +3 with ranged combat? Doesn't applying skill levels to OCV always require perception of the targets, in any case? And isn't requires a roll a -1/2 disadvantage, for skills that are actually paid for?

 

The distinctive feature and the picture certainly do match.

 

 

Without seeing the origin and background, it's hard to comment much otherwise, but I'm thinking you're likely in a different campaign setting than I'm used to.

I'm confused... is this character a hero or villain? (Being part of a team, as noted, prevents her from just being a neutral or non-affiliated super, right?)

 

A "lusty" nun doesn't make much sense for a hero, and a "lusty nun" who wears a "slutty nun costume" certainly doesn't make sense for a real nun, and the whole idea seems disrespectful so I'd think villain.

 

But having Holy powers and being vulnerable to Unholy attacks implies that this character is a hero, perhaps even a real nun (especially if another Sister is a "professional" rival).

 

(And how can a nun be or have a romantic rival? What kind of convent is this?)

 

For an "edgy" modern loose morality game, OK. For any sort of traditional supers game (or anywhere that someone could ask "What would a religious order think of one of their sisters looking and acting like that?"), the character makes no sense.

 

Drop the "real nun" bit and give the character religious identity issues instead (you know, the cliche story about the unbelieving party-girl suddenly visited from on high and given abilities and responsibilities, and figures dressing up like a religious figure makes sense, but with her background messes up the details...), or push the "real nun not living up to her vows" and eliminating the public aspects of her lack of discipline, maybe combined with the "terribly conflicted because she's been given these powers yet is still doing that"... something to make the character internally consistent.

The drain was supposed to be ranged.

 

The Language was supposed to be French

 

I am not sure on the +3OCV either it was one i picked fro mthe Hero genertaor to increase her OCVs a bit on ranged attackes?? I assume my GM will sort it out for me :)

 

Her Love rival is the Love of God (ill prob drop the love part)

 

Her Original Concept is such: It got tweaked in the final stages as GM is using luck differently

 

 

Powers: Sister Bliss has powers of Charms, Blessings and Portal Travel. Pulling on the 3 entities that make her up she has gained all of thier previous skills and traits and with a blast of magical power reinvented them as powers

 

Limitations: Indecicive, due to her component parts being so radically different she sometimes has to internally debate with herself on courses of action causing her to freeze up

 

Skills: Specialised in Seduction techniques, Religious knowledge,

Weapons/Gadgets: none

 

Physical Appearance:

Her hair is Hot Pink and in an 80s style bursting out of the top of her nuns hat she wears . Her costume is Black spandex witha white coller like a nuns around her neck ending in white retro go go boots. and white gloves. she wears a rosary round her waist aswell.

 

Personality: Being comprised of 3 seperate entities yo ucan never tell who your gonna get , though they are all merged into one person now different emotions coem to the fore. Either highly sexually charged and charming seductress, quiet conteplative and chaste or fianlly a slightly deranged yet happy person.

 

History: Sister bliss is comprised of Trixie L'amour, Sister Elena Renoir and Ximpigg.

 

Trixe and Sister Elena were both strolling down the streets of Marsailles towards the marketplace as they did together everyweek discussing the differences in their lives and what shopping they were needing to pick up. Sister Elena was a nun in the local convent and was sent weekly to collect the groceries for the other sisters and for the outreach program they had set up to help the waifs and strays (such as Trixie) of Marsailles to get on in life. Elena had become fond of Trixie , who she had met 2 years previously while out giving soup to the homeless. Trixe was a prostitute and when she met Sister Elena was in a heap bloody and beaten after her last trick had robbed her and assaulted her. Elena felt protective of Trixie and so took special care to make sure she was alright. Trixie still worked the streets as a "lady of the night" and personal dancer in the local La Rouge Club.

 

In an alternate dimention the purple imp Ximpigg was fleeing from the horrific Plsonclog monster and used his portal spells to move around the creature and hurled items through the portals at it. On one creation of a portal he accidently tapped into the Xuluko current and dirrected his portal to another plane .....

 

During their discussions just outside the Boulangerie a mystical purple cloud started to form, before they could move away a huge explosion occured, destroying the shop and nearby cars in juring the few people that had not moved out the way. When the cloud settled after the huge mystical conflagration Elena and Trixie were nowhere to be seen. Instead standing there in half tattered Nuns outfirt was a beautiful Pink haired woman of about 17 years old looking confused and dazed.

 

Her internal struggle immediately began as she Ximpigg, Trixie and Elena realised they were all now bound to one body and their souls bonded for eternity. Elena being the most devout and strong of force has managed for the last few months to have take nher role in the covent back forcing the others to her will. Recently howeverTrixie with the help of Ximpigg have been taking soem control and as such they have had to leave the convent as their lives no longer match that path.

Not knowing now what path to take they have realised they can wield powers unlike other normal beings and have started experimenting wit hthem. Pulling on their previous strengths they appear to be able to move through portals short distances and summon items through these portals , They seem to be able to beguile others to do their bidding and are finally bale to change chance in their and other favour once in a while. Having met a former student of the acadmey, it has been suggested that they should maybe attend to learn how to fit into this brave new world they face and hopefully maybe find redemption and the secret to unlocking thier not so holy trinity. They have adopted one name inspired byt the two humans that make up Sister Bliss.

That certainly makes a lot more sense with the background!

 

I'd still switch some of the disadvantages around for the following reasons:

 

I think that Rivalry still sounds a bit odd. I'd turn it into a "helping the disadvantaged" or something rather than making it distinctly religious - it was something Sister Elena apparently did anyway, and with her not being a proper nun, and being part imp, there's not even an arena in which to be competitive on a religious basis, is there? Focus the rivalry on out-gooddeeding each other and I'd think there'd be a more logical conflict there. The ex-nun trying to keep to her beliefs versus the nun who finds it important to be better at being good than this fallen tramp who can perform miracles.

 

If she's got a conflicted split psyche, something in the disads should reflect that I think. Maybe one disadvantage for the actual split personality, and another disadvantage split into three parts - a different one in effect depending on which personality is in charge. That would go along with the Indecisive bit you listed in the background.

I have questiosn over the stats etc..

 

As i have not actually played a game yet, would the stats/powers i have given her be ok in a superhero campaign, it is intended she is group support mainly with a few things she can do herself.

Pretty cool character, though IME with nuns most of them would probably find it blasphemous to wear a slutty nun's habit and would be far more likely to insist on normal clothes. The habit has meaning to them, it's not a costume to be put on and taken off like a stripper would. And it's certainly not intended to provoke any prurient interest.

As a person educated by nuns (yeah it was interesting) I agree the nuns outfit (called a habit btw) is part and parcel of who they are. Real nuns definately will have issues even with such a conservative costume (look at Warrior Nun if you want a comparison).

 

However, given the background the costume makes sense. Make it a little more baggy and we could have a winner. Optionally add a knee lenght skirt.

 

I do love the concept and background. If I was running a game I would have little problem allowing her in. My one problem would be the T-Port usable as an attack. I just have visions of moving a person over the side of a building or in front of a train and such.

She has another thing i forgot to add a code against killing so the tp infront of a train, off a cliff wont be happeneing, its more a tool to bring items to her, or her colleagues to her to heal them at touch range etc..

 

Or to tp a villain into a cage or into prison or something, or just to keep them away from her.

 

I have asked Storn to do a pic of her, so lets see what we get :)
