(at least publicly, there's also the Men in Black of Bureau 13). For the most part they are a super agency using cutting edge technology (built upon alien technology from two failed invasions) MTR has several divisions: Investigative (dresses in suits, performs investigation/surveillance (also studies different metahuman phenomena (psionics, magic, extra terrestrial and extra dimensional phenomena) Standard Combat Operative (yer base agent) Technical (Deals with technologies recovered and being developed Hazard Detail (Natural and Man Made Disasters, organize clean ups and rebuilds) Heavy Assault (Powered Armor Troops) Environmental Combat (Actually several specialized divisions for differing environments) It's just that the acronym I'm not so happy with. Heh. For the most part this allows me to put the delightful UNTIL book to good use. The agent packages, vehicles, and weapons are awesome. The personalities are a bit different but that's cool. MTR loves to take former military personnel for it's agent corps, but also picks up dedicated civilians. Leadership leans towards quiet professionalism and this tends to be reflected in the agency's overall approach to crime fighting and containment. MTR is also in charge of America's two super prisons, the Big House in Arizona and the Rock in Louisiana. MTR Doesn't officially have a metahuman team, however, they have metahuman agents. Either through serendipitous power endowment to existing agents, to metahumans who've decided to join, the agency has roughly 120 agents of 350 pts or more spread across the US. Thoughts, sugestions, comments? I'll post some package deals, a few of the meta agents I've already created, and possibly the Heavy Assault Armor when I get round to it. MTR has offices near all major cities (250k+ Population) acting as regional offices for the smaller communities. They work with the M(eta)SWAT teams of the larger cities, but take the leadership role. Hmmm, I almost hate to suggest something I read in a book series I didn't particularly care for -- but M-Tac works well for what you're describing... Metahuman Response & Enforcement, thus MRE, as in the military food.. thus they COULD say "Eat Me!" and have a really terrible reason to do so... =) Metahuman Response, or MR, or Mister. =) Bureau of Metahumanity and Weapons Solutions, BMWS or BMWs, thus inflicting a copyright lawsuit for some amusement...?
