Pattern Ghost
Re: Concubine Seeks New Position Well, it looks like the character upgrades are decided, though I'll throw out one of my ideas, since I didn't see it mentioned (or missed it): Arm her with a tasp. Drhoz
Re: Concubine Seeks New Position tasp? OOh , what a good idea. Certainly worked well for the concubine in World Out Of Time, too...
Drhoz
Re: Concubine Seeks New Position no I haven't noticed Batman's high save vs. magic - not that it matters. With Gotham's revolving-door justice system Vitus will be out again in time for tea anyway.

With Gotham's revolving-door justice system Vitus will be out again in time for tea anyway. That's assuming that they would even put him in the regular jail. It's far more likely that Vitus would be incarcerated in the Gotham Zoo (for no other reason that it's got better security than jail -- after all, when's the last time that you ever heard of anyone staging a breakout from a zoo?). Comic
Re: Concubine Seeks New Position That's just the thing. You hear of all sorts of non-magic types going up against Batman, getting caught, being incarcerated and then getting out. When was the last time you even heard of an actual spell-casting type magic villain in Gotham? Sure, there's a few mystically-oriented types who wander through some of the Bat stories, like Ra's or Grundy.. but wand-waving, chanting wizards? The Monk? Dead by sunrise. The pawns of Neron? Sold their souls for power and ended up with hideous fates. But Vitus _could_ be the first to succeed. I say go for it.

Just as long as it isn't the Gotham Aquarium. They have zombie penguins. And undead baby seals that stare at you with their big dead eyes. I say go for it. depends - if Vitus simply lost his temper (not an unlikely event) then Wayne simply has to dodge the first fireball and then it's batarang to the face, all over for Vitus. If Vitus was REALLY angry - hearing about it third hand, say, and seeing the photos in the society pages, then Wayne would certainly be in trouble, Batman maybe. With time to prepare his own defences, and some area effect spells to slow Batman down to a crawl, then some creative and horrible use of his more accurate spells and summonings, yes, I think Vitus could pull it off. Would be fun to play out

It was probably inevitable that 3/Jasmine start wearing clothes - as we commented this week Vitus OOC : At least the winter's over - Jasmine's nipples were about to break the de Beer's monopoly. The Gunney OOC : I thought Argyle had the monopoly on pink diamonds?
