LOTR Balrog

Okay, I'm thinking of an episode where Foxbat, not knowing of the consequences, wishes for a Balrog to appear or something to that effect.

What stats & powers would you give a Balrog in a Champions world? I know - the campaign power level makes it differ but assume using the Champions world level. I'm a little stumped.

Yes, Foxbat's going to realize this is an 'oh-oh'...

Re: LOTR Balrog

Here's one well thought-out HERO (Fourth Edition) interpretation of a Balrog: http://surbrook.devermore.net/adaptationsbook/lotr/balrog.html . It should be a good challenge for most starting-level Champions teams as-is, requiring only minor adjustment for use with Fifth Edition.

BTW the link at the bottom of that page will take you to fine HERO write-ups for a large number of other LOTR characters.

Well, you could use the Moria orcs as cannon fodder agents that are his followers. They'd at least be an added on annoyance.
