Steve Long
Got so busy writing UBA that I totally forgot to post this earlier. Here's a sneak peek at the awesome APG cover! I think Fred did a great job conceptualizing and executing it. If we do another APG ever, maybe we'll riff on Vitruvian Man next.

ghost-angel
Re: APG Cover Preview Nice cover' date=' now only if we can get the pdf/preorder released [/quote'] Regular books (i.e. not the 6E Core Rules) don't get pre-orders. Tina and Jason add books to the online store when they have the books physically in hand.
Zephrosyne
Re: APG Cover Preview What's the pdf policy? I don't order from here often so I really don't know the standards. Does the pdf come out much sooner than the book?
ghost-angel
Re: APG Cover Preview Nope, usually they're all released at the same time. PDF, Book, and any Bundles.

Well, that settles it! We are sending Dr. Destroyer in to light a fire under the printer's ass! Let's just hope he doesn't go all RKA Area Of Effect and kill all the staff...not to mention destroy our precious books!

Knightgoblin
Re: APG Cover Preview I like the cover. It makes me think I can build an android from scratch, or the bionic-man for that matter. Does anyone knoiw if APG is going to be in color? I'm pretty excited that Hero System 6E is in color. I hope to look forward to all Hero Game products to be in color.
Steve Long
Re: APG Cover Preview Does anyone knoiw if APG is going to be in color? As a matter of fact, someone does. The APG is not in color -- in fact, it has no illustrations or artwork whatsoever. Major releases -- genre books, for example -- will generally be in color, assuming the first few color books generate enough revenue to make it worthwhile to publish them that way. Champions books will generally be in color, since we can get a large amount of color art from Cryptic. Other releases generally will be in black and white (though again, if it turns out that color books are much more profitable, we'd probably change our minds). Looking at near-term books, for example, the Martial Arts and Equipment books are both planned as B&W. The moral of the story is: if you want color books, buy a lot of them, which will convince us that other books should also be in color. Phil
Re: APG Cover Preview I must confess, I'm not that interested in Hero 6th, but I really, really want to get my hands on this baby. Does that make me a heretic?!

StGrimblefig
Re: APG Cover Preview It is a very nice looking cover. It almost looks like a crazy character sheet. So, when is someone (with more time and pdf/rtf/eps/etc. skill than I) going to make a HD export format that looks like this?
