AlHazred
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. Be honest with you, I only own the basic Palladium Fantasy RPG (Revised) and the races were the least interesting thing in there. The only ones that looked at all cool were the Wolfen and the Changelings.
Lucius
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. To be honest, I came into this thread because I thought the title meant that Palladium was rushing a new edition into print that incorporated a lot of rules adopted from Hero. Lucius Alexander races out on a palindromedary

Lucius
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. Wouldn't that require Kevin Siembieda to send a Cease and Desist letter to himself? Lucius Alexander sending the palindromedary a proceed and persist letter

薔薇語
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. Is that like Dispelling a Dispel? JoeG Hopefully it turns out to be a long term suppress vs Dispel. La Rose.
Lucius
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. Actually, it's both Dispel and Suppress. "Cease" means "stop doing that" and "Desist" means "Don't do it again." Lucius Alexander Not a lawyer, but I have a palindromedary
AlHazred
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. Actually, to be fair, he could probably just copy & paste from one of the many other C&Ds they've sent people. To get back to the OP, if no one's chimed in, I'll try my hand at the Wolfen when I get home later today. For Changelings, I would use a variation on the Shapeless package from my High Fantasy Hero game: CHANGELING PACKAGE DEAL Abilities Cost...Ability 8......High Mental Endurance: +8 EGO 3......Personable: +3 PRE 6......High Mental Endurance: +2 OMCV 6......High Mental Endurance: +2 DMCV 13.....Shape Changing Ability: Shape Shift (Sight, Touch and Mental Groups, any humanoid form), Imitation, Costs END Only To Change Shape (+¼); Extra Time (1 Turn, -1¼), Affects Body Only (-½) 1......Long-Lived: Longevity: 250 Years -2.....Weak Constitution: -2 CON -2.....Slow-Moving: Running -2m Total Cost Of Template Abilities: 33 Complications Value..Compliations 15.....Distinctive Features: Changeling (Easily Concealed; Extreme Reaction; Detectable By Commonly-Used Senses) 5......Physical Complication: Low Tolerance For Alcohol And Salt, requires CON Roll to avoid becoming intoxicated/nauseous 15.....Social Complication: Changeling Hysteria Infrequently, Severe Total Value Of Template Complications:
DusterBoy
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. Good write-up for the Changelings, but I don't remember them being immortal? Mind you, it's been ages, so. . .
AlHazred
Re: Palladium races to Champions rules. Good catch, they're listed as living 250+ years, which is why they have 1 point for Longevity. Don't know why it printed as Immortal. Weird.
