  1. It was kind of odd that Thor was FAR more upset at the thought of his hair being cut than the death of his dad, his city, his buddy Mjolnir, and the Warriors Three.
  2. Cap did whatever he could to save a friend who had been tortured and mind-controlled for 70 years. Cap was right. Maybe...maybe...the ends didn't justify his means (and he apologized afterwards btw), but he kept that friend from being murdered. Cap was right.
  3. Feline Fury The Pussycat Squad M.E.O.W. Purrfection
  4. As I said, I had no problems necessarily against the accords. Cap was not arguing against prison or wrongdoing...he was simply trying to catch him without him being killed. AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT HIM. Particularly near the end, the Avengers should have helped them, yet they forced a confrontation and only Natasha acted like she should...that is what superheroes do, accords or no accords.
  5. Its a good thing that five is clearly the only number that starts with an F.
  6. To the authorities and gen pop., yes...not to the Avengers and Cap's friends.
  7. Yeah, the huge problem with Civil War was that it should have been painfully obvious that Bucky was being setup as well as clearly brainwashed if one had done any follow-up into his history. I have never had a problem Stark's manner during serious moments and could even buy his intense disagreement with Cap over the accords due to his guilt over his past mistakes. Natasha, though, was the only rational member of Tony's team for the last half of that movie IMO.
  8. Wildcat? Bronze Tiger Puma White Tiger Hellcat? Shadowcat? If you're counting mythological creatures with catlike bodies then there is the Sphinx - Marvel villain and hero mentor from Mystery Men; also there is Chimera an xmen villain PS: Is Battle Cat a superhero?
  9. So on one day Putin is announcing the development of unstoppable nukes, and the next morning my president wakes up and wants to discuss 'Alex' Baldwin and can't spell the word 'dying'.
  10. Probably the humdrum everyday fail; like use of the phrase 'cock-up' or adding the letter 'U' in words for no good reason.
  11. Given Trump's stated 'grabbing' preference, the distinction in those pictures is probably better for the general population.
  12. Strange that I never got fascism from Watchmen. A (what-if) story of good guys gone bad with the cold war extended into a dystopian future and morally bankrupt 'superheroes'. The fascism in the story never really had much to do with the main characters, just the governments. I always viewed that as kind of a false narrative for that book. There were only 2-3 'real' heroes in the story IMO. Ymmv.
  13. He said he was gonna do it...i just didn't think he would do it so...unilaterally. Disastrous idea IMO. There are things about his policies so far where I can see tiny reasons that they could work, but this...there is just no business sense at all to such wide ranging tariffs. Not to mention that it is my understanding that our steel industry has mostly rebounded and rearranged their model.
  14. That would be one heck of a Federation negotiating tool.
  15. You'd think his horoscope would've warned him about answering his phone.
  16. Robert E. Howard, who did modern fantasy pretty much before everyone, is the best ever IMO.
