Re: The First (Hopefully) Semi-Annual Great Champions Challenge Modding Contest!
Here is my entry.Gargoyle, by original Champions artist and member of the very first Champs campaign, Mark Williams.
Excellent work.

Re: Supervillain Images

Re: Supervillain Images
I take it the Aerie are a bunch of bird-themed villains? Cool idea. Would like to know more about them. They are very much a work-in-progress. I'll start a thread to show them as soon as I get some of them finished. Stay tuned.

Re: Supervillain Images
That's a great pic. Did you do it?I wish! Actually, it was done by redmenace. He's working on a female villain from one of my other groups (after he gets done working on his mini-mod for Proditors Champs mini-modding contest). I'll post her when he's done with her.

Re: New Character Background - Opinions Welcome
Me likee, a lot! I think I like this one almost as much as I liked Nemesis' story. Great work.
I have some villians I need backgrounds for. Do you take commissions?

Re: Answers & Questions
A: I'm late for work' date=' wearing mismatched socks, my shoes are too tight, my clothes are dirty, I wet my pants, received a speeding ticket, stepped in dog doo, left my lunch at home, and get dropped a bomb by the boss saying he needs this 100-page report proofread and overnighted today, because he forgot to mention it early and I have chest pains. That's what![/quote']Q: Hey, why the sour look?
A: A shotgun, three cans of oil and a rutabaga.

Re: Acro is bored
The second draft looks much better. Great work folks.

Re: Acro is bored
It looks pretty good Chris, although I think the background is a bit too dark. The figure gets a bit lost.

Re: GateCrasher Hero
(Is anyone reading this... Does anyone care?)I've been checking it out. Sounds like a very cool game, so far.
I wanna play.....

Re: Hero Write up:Agent Bloodrayne
Thanks for the file, nexus. I'll keep my eyes open for the revision. I think maybe I'll have to track down a used copy of the game, and give it a try.

Re: Hero Write up:Agent Bloodrayne
Very cool write-up, nexus. I'd maybe use her as an NPC in one of my games. Any chance that you could attach the .hdc file? I noticed the BloodRayne game when previews of it appeared in the PSM magazine. I've even considered buying it, due to the fact that the main character has the same name (and spelling) as my daughter. I had the name chosen, however, 6 years before the game appeared. I'll show my daughter the game when she's a bit older (she's only 8 now). One question: is the game worth buying and playing? I heard mixed reviews. Have you played it, and what did you think of it?

Re: A Thread for Random Mooings
Quack. There's another one. Who's supposed to be the bouncer at this shindig?

Re: Fifth edition characters resources
Jackalope has a half-dozen or so posted here. Some are without hdc's.
-
Re: Fifth edition characters resources
JeffreyWKramer has also posted the hdc's for some of his characters here.

Re: Fifth edition characters resources
Enforcer84's Hero A Day... Sorta thread has a ton of characters (hdc's included) that he's designed. All types and point levels.

Re: Isle of Dr. Destroyer(?)
IIRC, the Adventure module was included as part of the package. If you look closely at the cover of the screen, in the bottom-right corner, you can see the notice for the module (and Dr. D's pic).

Re: Good bye
I too am pulling off of these message boards. I have found far too many posters on these boards to be exceptionally rude and condescending toward anyone expressing a differing opinion. These boards are now becoming as bad as rpg.net. Our gm has been wanting to switch over to M&M for some time now. Only a handful of us have been resisting the switch' date=' and I have now thrown my vote over to M&M. At least on the M&M boards the posters only attack non-M&M trolls, not each other.[/quote']You're tossing out the greatest game system ever because you have issues with a few people on a discussion board? Sounds like you're cutting off your nose to spite your face. The only person who's going to lose is you. We won't, because someone else will discover HERO and come to the boards in your place. It's not the system or the boards that have a problem - it seems to be you, since you can't just turn away from a thread if you don't like what you're reading there.

Rock and Roll ain't Noise Pollution.Yes, but the noise pollution, that passes for music today, sure ain't Rock and Roll.

Re: Madstone
Someone must have found out that I am secretly Rob Leafhead (Leifeld).
That can't be true, even your "Image" art is better than his.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
Oh well' date=' enough of the fourms for now. I've other stuff I really ought to be doing. [/quote']But, where is the fun in that?

Q: Well, what do you think of the bed I built for your dachshund?
A: If it would have made any difference I would have bought one.
