  1. Let us see the pilot had telepathic/mind illusion Talosian. The 2nd pilot had Gary Mitchell go full on god-like. Then the Salt Monster had telepathy and illusion. And the Charlie Evan's was basically Gary Mitchell with Anakin's personality and angst. I think I covered it.
  2. We had those as an option at work. I saw myself likely whacking that thing with my hand several times an hour, which would defeat the purpose.
  3. I am lucky my sense of smell is impaired. A smell needs to be moderately strong, and a once a week wash seems about right, like my Hs gym clothes back in the day. Note: I did go 3 weeks without washing the gym clothes once, and by the end I was debating whether to just take the grade penalty for not dressing out. On the bright side, no one wanted to guard me in the basketball game.
  4. I've longed to figure out a way to get a week off at least during this. But, it seems I am hampered my own work honor code about not making things unnecessarily hard on my co,workers. Curse you, Code vs Slacking
  5. Well, good thing he did get quarantined before the Indians became the Marlins or Cards North. (And given the regional play the Central would have completely decimated in games played.
  6. Been dreaming about my grandma's house lately. Haven't been in there since we sold her house shortly after her 1987 death. SO, dont knows what is up with that
  7. Bsg reboot twist. Everyone was an alien pretending to be humans spying each other.😉
  8. Well, I occasionally have dreams where I am supposed to be at work, but forgot to go. Does that help
  9. The wild boar thought he was in Australia, but took a wrong turn at Albuquerque
  10. It would mess up the Nl central to some extent. Though, in this season it could be argued any team that gets more than 6 or 7 games away from a playoff spots should just pack it in too. And I have more or less amended it to "they have to defer any tiebreakers" which is only a minor disincentive that may not come up. (Or if does could be the difference between a 6th or 7th seed.) It is a fine line. Which I dont really know how to navigate. I do worry about a Card team playing 45 games, sneaks in, and goes on a run, putting an even bigger asterisk on the season. Then again the needed doubleheaders could put the needed wear and tear to bring the fatigue imbalance back down.
  11. Yeah, I was giving just hypothetical record. Probably shouldn't feel sorry, but I get a little too obsessed with the "fairness".
  12. Ok they only made one BSG series right. Back in the 70s, and it lasted only one season, they didn't bring it from cancellation in 1980 for several horrible episodes. And they most certainly didn't reboot it in the 2000s, where it got reduced to a bunch of Cylons posing as humans spying on each other and Scruffy the Janitor (aka the only human left)
  13. Yeah, I will say Mlb is much less preferential than the NBA and NFL. But, I guess what I am saying if the Cards get going and end up 27-23, they shouldn't get in over the clean team who happened to be 32-28. Because percentage points. If the Cards end up 31-20, or something that would be a little different. More of a tie or close to it then a non-covid happy team should be getting the benefit of the doubt. I probably have gotten a little too sensitive to preferential after Alabama has built up a legacy by going to National Championships when they weren't worthy of playing for the SEC version.😉
  14. I dont need to always be hungry.
  15. She has struck me as a politician whose views are based on the political winds at given point (of course that is most politicians to a point). That could be argued as to why she seems all over the map.
  16. Yeah I was going to say 50 instead of 45. I really dont think a team should be rewarded for not playing for 3 weeks. But the Cardinals are one of those "legacy" teams that I am sure would let slide though.
  17. With the Cards if they ever get started, and likely to play a significant lower number, seems they need to have a minimum win amount to get in. Or maybe all unplayed games from pandemic should be forfeits for the infected team. (Which might not sit well, if a team gets in due to forfeits, but it seems better than rewarding the Cardinals for unleashing a plague.)
  18. I think a pitcher named Haeger got ejected a few years ago when hitting a batter... ...with a knuckleball. Note: in high school I only hit one batter. A curve that dropped on the top of his foot.
  19. I remember back in the day little John Cangelosi charged the mound on John Smoltz after getting hit by pitch. They did later show Cangelosi stats vs Smoltz. It had been his 4th time facing Smoltz, he was now 0 for 1 with 3 Hbps
  20. Voyager? You are the first person I've met that preferred the first movie.
  21. Pets and kids are similar. But pets are better behaved and more easily housebroken
  22. Should have whacked people in the head with his bat like Juan Marichal. Only 10 games for him back then.
  23. In Russia, Coronavirus get infected with you.
