I don't hate Brady but I am kind of tired of him. Same with Belichick really.
Actually found myself pulling for Tampa. Last year or so, i just got tired of Brees and the Saints, just sudden like.

Very much agreed. But Rise is also excellent, and shows how the world got to the state it's in by Dawn. But the parallels with what's happening in the real world now might be... unsettling, for some.
No Heston, badger no watch.

Well, Mr. P, you can just join me in rooting for Mr. Ro(d)gers.
GO PACK!!!!
(I don't have that much personal animosity towards Tommy, and calling him GOAT is defensible, but the GLA BS was going way too far)
On a secondary point, I hope Brees hangs it up. Not that I'd want him to go out like that, but he's just too limited now.
Well, i found out about 80 percent of my patriot dislike was Belichek.

A certain Vikings fan, might be pulling for them then

I'm still not convinced we'll never see Brett Farve attempt a comeback.
To be honest, i did keep waiting for it for about 3 years afterwards.

Well...it happened.
Nets are betting the decade on this, if I understand the trade details right. And yeah, I hope it totally blows up in their faces. In part because if it works, the league structure is at extreme risk, as it feels like it'll cement the players' overweening power.
Yeah, it will blow up and it willbe glorious like a dying star.
Yeah, idid a comment on youtube to several people talking about how great it was and Brooklyn is winning a championship.
My simple comment: 1 ball, 3ball hogs.

Thus proving the Daniel Webster corollary to Newton's Law: for every example, there is an equal and opposite counterexample.
Aww, i thought the Daniel Webster was for them in all likelihood having sold their souls for a youth formula.

I mean, I'm more willing to talk about the bad that happened during the George Floyd protests than I was before this event happened.
But this event is endangering on another scale. There's going to be snapback for a while.
The censorship issue is more of an issue of fighting over what is causing endangerment, because I assure you that's something I've seen for over a decade. I'm not surprised it ended this way.
Yeah, i wasnt saying anything about that. But, i just see me as the inevitable victim of collateral damage. But, thanks for the comment. I do plan on being around hopefully in other threads, just that politics isnt worth wasting any time for me.

And now, there's a big question if Harden is really trying. Postgame interview tonight was "yeah, we're a bad team." Dismissively, and pretty clearly not trying to do anything to fix it. His last 5 games, counting tonight, have been lame. One was a win but Orlando apparently forgot to play. Tonight was the 3rd time in 5 games he didn't even reach 20 points...and that's going to tank his already-low trade value.
Meanwhile, what the heck is up with Kyrie? Sounds like he's gotta lotta splainin to do. Lucy....
It does confirm that the Nets shouldnt go in on Harden. No team can survive that apocalyptic team up.

I am going to be honest here, this will probably be a good bye of sorts (for this thread for me) i hope i dont offend.
While i didnt like Trump, the resulting aftermath has put a great deal of fear in me. As a small government conservative, i do sincerely we and the libertarians days of politicql free speech are numbered. I just dont see the censoring stoping here and now. And the signs do tell me we are next. It is what it is, and this is my sincere opinion. I do hope i didnt offend.

By DVOA they’re fourth after the Steelers, Saints, and Football Team. But still elite.
What was the name of the 3rd football team?

More news on the Tennessee bomber.
His girlfriend reported him to the cops last year telling them that he was building bombs.
The cops showed up and took her off to get a psychiatric evaluation.
The cops ended up knocking on the boyfriend's door a couple of times. But since he wouldn't answer the door, they gave up and forgot about it.
Yeah, sometimes they arent dilligent.
I believe on Dateline or something similar, they had a story about some kidnapping rapist.
The 2nd woman went to the place, gave a detailed description of the car including make and model. They didnt catch him till 3-4 women later because...
She was off by one year on the make and model, and apparently they didnt think to look up the records of any other year.
I mean look like if someone said say the 1975 model, you would 1973-77 just in case. At least 74-76? Oy.

I would be curious too. If only to know how much one needs to worry.

Nah, i want the Was/philly game to end in a tie, now. It would be appropriate to end the final Sunday that way this season.
And i want to see a team without a name make the playoffs, because, i am in the mood to see the (football) world burn.

At midnight as the new year came in, some idiots here locally (within earshot) were out in barely above freezing weather, in a driving rainstorm, setting off fireworks.
Somewhat similar from my neighbors.
Though only a couple of fireworks. I was hoping the ones that used to shoot off fireworks for Independence Week had moved.

Wesley Crusher. Yeh, the kid who played him turned out okay IRL, but that character...
Joffrey Baratheon. Series; I haven't read the books.
Von Kaiser. Sure it's a video game character but his face is literally made to be punched.
Short Round. Not proud of wanting to punch a kid, but tell me he doesn't have it coming.
Well, if i punch a kid, it will be the boy from Jurassic Park. Short Round was at least moderately useful .

But looking up annoying characters I think I may have a winner.
Ladies, Gentlemen,Others
Scrappy Doo
But, that is low hanging fruit.

Admiral huldo is the first i can think of.
Not that it would do me any good, but the organians aggravated me to no end.
Kirk during his speech in the episode where he, spock, and the girl of the week let the aliens body hop them to build new bodies (but while punching him, i have to be able to say "have you lost your damn mind")
All plato's stepchildren not played by Michael Dunn.

I'll have to think about the list longer myself, but the top would probably be Gul Dukat (Mark Alaimo) from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. I don't remember anyone actually punching that smug smirk off his face.
Another candidate: Carter Burke (Paul Reiser), the "company man" from Aliens. That deceitful, backstabbing little weasel got what he deserved in the end, but I still would've liked to get a shot in first.
I see. To remember a youtube video recently for Dukat.
In a series villains to dumb to live or something.

Honestly I wonder if Cam ever got over covid. He was sharp the first three weeks, missed two weeks with coronavirus, and when he came back he seemed... mentally tired, and his accuracy was all over the place. Tonight he was missing receivers by ten yards.
Maybe, but he had been injured practically all the previous couple years. His arm is groundchuck at this point. So, things very likely would have caught up mid season regardless. I can think of a whole lot of old Qbs, who seem to hit a wall mid season in their last or next to last season.
