Well, in my dream last night.   I got exiled for some reason.  I ended up recruiting a gang of desert bandits that included a "98-pound" Persian guy who singlehandedly destroyed a Shwarzenegger terminator in unarmed combat. A one-armed French spy-turned comedian (dont ask).  A Japanese biker gang.  One of Destro's ancestors who had succumbed to the temptation of being a vampire.  And for some damn reason, David Hasselhoff. (or a character played by Hasselhoff, I really dont want to know).  I think we were going to go tangle with the Big Bad who did the exiling when I woke up.

Note: Well, the handful of those exiled with me were in the gang also.  But, I cant remember anything noteworthy about them.

The Rose is probably going to post 30 more of these in the next week.  I would advice that the best thing (the best interest for you and him) you can do is just ignore the links for the time being.

So can we at least agree that Al Sharpton is a tapeworm upon American society?

But, the thing is for every cop-initiated act of violence that happens, there is 10, 15, 20 (more?) cases where the citizen initiated.  Just that the former gets 45 minutes every hour on cable news for a month, while the latter gets mentioned on page 5-A of the local newspaper (and maybe a second time with the conviction at trial). Unless the cop dies/seriously injured, of course.

If you off and suckerpunch a cop acting as security at the high school basketball game, you're going to jail (happened locally last week)

Hmm, you really missed the point of my boss analogy.  If a police, pulls you over for going 70 in a 45, and ask you why, just maybe it might be an overreaction to assault him.  While I would prefer to appeal to common sense and/or morality to prevent one from doing so to the cop.   As a last resort, if fear is the only thing that prevents you from  doing so, then I am glad you fear that cop, for your  sake.  If a cop starts brutalizing a citizen then by all means do what one can to live (which is why my opinion was much more favorable towards Eric Garner).   But, if one's reaction to questions or tickets is violence, well they are an idiot.

If your reaction to being told to get off of the middle of the road (an act which proves in and of itself proves you're dumber than the shoes you're wearing) is to go for the cop's gun and try to shoot him, then you are an idiot.  (and I want say Brown deserved to die, but Wilson didnt deserve to be executed, and had just much right to live)

Note: ANd I probably wasnt clear about the whole grand jury thing last night. It shouldnt have gone to a grand jury.  At all.   I see no reason to offer Darren Wilson as a sacrifice to the masses.  When the case, is so likely to be a self-defense case.  That prosecutor needs disbarring, granted.  If he or his bosses had the requisite intestinal fortitude, it doesnt go that far.

You can keep on posting your news stories, it is commendable to have a crusade.  Though, all you are really proving to the other side is there is one more proven dirty cop in the nation that there was since the last case you posted.   Just as long as you know that, go for it.

I am wondering if there is anyone but me, that is divided on the 2 incidents.

    1)  Michael Brown.  As near as I can tell for me, while I cant say without a reasonable doubt Wilson is innocent.  I can most certainly am much. much closer to that, than the opposite.  Dorian Johnson=liar, for me.  While, the prosecutor's handling was shameful, that is a seperate issue, and probably needs to be dealt with.  An unfortunate implication for me, that keeps popping up in my head; Darren Wilson SHOULD have let Michael Brown kill him.  Like it or not, that is the implication the protesters lead me to (right or wrong) and that rankles me.  (And I am not a fan, of "well they should have indicted him anyway", if you have little chance of convicting a guy, proceeding anyway, just because you are afraid of some external politicalreaction, putting a likely not guilty person's life on hold, for your own benefit,  strikes me as worse than evil)

    2) Eric Garner. I come to a different conclusion.  I have to ignore the idiocy of the "Democratic Republic" of NYC's policy on cigarettes, which without it this situation wouldnt have occurred. So, ignoring that,  Looking at the video, it looks like Garner is gesturing with his hands while talking and some idiot cop panics and goes choke-crazy, because well this guy is rather large.  At that point of course, Eric Garner probably struggled, due to the fact that most people when unable to breathe, will struggle to do whatever they can to try to breathe, aka live.

If anything with me, these incidents prove that the local prosecutors arent the ones who should be in charge of these things.  Humans are susceptible to conflict of interest.  So, outsiders are needed to see these incidents clearly.

And it has irked me where the public for so long made such an issue of Michael Brown, but completely ignored a similar case with greater chance of legitimacy (to me).   They should have focused on both, to be sure.  But, both sides of the media decided to put all the eggs in one basket.

I said "fear" the cops?   No, I suggested using a minimal level of common sense.  If your boss chews you out for making a mistakes, do you react by cussing out your boss, or punching your boss?  I hope not.  People who do spend a lot of time unemployed.

How many dirty cops do you suppose there are though?  By the way you are talking it seems like you are assuming minimum 50%.  As far as my case of local cops, if I assume half the dirty cops didnt get caught, we are still talking less than 10% (though small sample size given the community, so the few bad apples may have skewed us upwards).

But, back to common sense vs. fear.  If "fear" is the sole thing that will keep you from assaulting a cop that pulls your car over, then maybe "fear" is a good thing.  It'd be nice if a cop didnt have to worry that every person he pulls over for speeding might be the one who kills him, but that is possible.   (which also happened to a local police officer a few years ago)  I dont really understand why people equate "precautions=intolerable fear".

Real name unknown.  The Dragoness is an insane pyomaniac, cute and petite little goth girl.  Her only real powers are a cigarette lighter that never needs fuel.  And the ability to infiltrate onto any site  (the ability to slide between dimensions and to appear wherever the wants to get to, as she claims, she refuses to call it stricitly teleportation).  She also has greater than normal human CON (not quite super-human level though)

She gave herself her code name. (dragon, fire, get it?)  She is sometimes an annoyance to the group because her pyromania is so intense, it seems like it acts as a drug to her.  And if it is a drug, she is a junkie that needs a fix.  And occsasionally she has burned down buildings that Lady Arson specifically didnt want burned down, when she couldnt wait any longer. ANd Lord Pyros worries she might pick an occupied target during one of her episodes.  As a result, she is now always given a list of 3-4 spare places of minor value/not in the immediate plans/etc. she can take out to keep her pacified till needed.  (which has surprisingly been valuable in interrupting patterns that any heroes might detect.)

Note: yes she has referred to her lighter as her "precious")

Daedalus is the inventor/gadgeteer of the group.  He was always seemingly able to absorb scientific knowledge even at a young age at a level higher than genius.  Whether or not he is the leader in comparison to the Sphinx, he generally comes up with the plan.

Edit:  He also is fond of creating overly complicated traps to slow down the heroes when needed
