  2. Re: Justice Inc Rides Again! I vote for: Daily Posting (maybe 5 times a week at the least) Hero Central as our PBeM location 6e set at 175 points if you take all 50 Comps
  3. Re: Justice Inc Rides Again! Can we do 6e?
  4. Re: Justice Inc Rides Again! Let's see if we get a few more players. I will find it tough being the only player.
  5. Re: Justice Inc Rides Again! I think I might be interested. I haven't really gotten a chance to try Pulp.

  7. Re: Inspiration from Renaissance Florence The idea of gods working mainly through their servants can allow faith to stay very real in the world, while still allowing for powerful magic to flow from the fingertips of these servants. It also works to allow godly magic to operate more invisibly through disasters instead of energy blasts. Not knowing for sure whether an event was god-driven helped to fan the fires of paranoia and faith. It also allowed people to seize power. In the end, it might not matter if magic is real or not in the world, just that the general populous thinks that it is. The way I think I would play it, is that magic is real, but hard to generate and somewhat rare. That should allow both options above to work and still keep history relatively intact. Pete
  8. Re: Historical Late Medieval Period RPG Thanks to everyone for your help on this thread. Pete
  9. Re: Classic Hero Characters updated (sorta) Can you publish the character files as well as the pdfs? Thanks, Pete
  10. Re: Historical Late Medieval Period RPG is it The Medici, godfathers of renaissance? I have it on my stack, but haven't watched it yet. So much to read/watch...
  11. Re: Historical Late Medieval Period RPG For this thread I am looking for things that would be distinct to a fairly historical Medieval setting. Anything that details Italy during this period would be a bonus.
  12. Re: Champions, IDEA for new source book/adventure book ?
  13. Re: Champions, IDEA for new source book/adventure book I will playtest.
  14. Re: Champions, IDEA for new source book/adventure book I think TotalerKrieg is going to write it up for us.
  15. Re: Champions, IDEA for new source book/adventure book I just started playing CO and it did get me thinking about how these mini-missions could work in a tabletop version. I certainly wouldn't like to try it. This would be a nice fan-created project. What we really need are good maps that could be printed for use in a f2f game or used in something like maptool. I don't know if anyone has ever mad decent maps of Millennium City at street level.
  16. Re: The Italian Connection It would also be possible to weave in the Propaganda Masonic Lodge as it transforms into Proaganda Due in 1945 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaganda_Due). These folks were attempting to rewrite the Italian Constitution for their own purposes. Lots of good Freedmason conspiracy to pull into a game.
  17. I am looking for a published RPG setting that covers the Late Medieval Period from a more historical point of view vs. the fantastic point of view. I want to use this as the foundation of a Hero campaign world that I then add my view of the fantastic. Any suggestions for a good read? Any system, as its just for inspiration. Thanks, Pete
  18. Re: USA 5O for Sixth Edition Any chance we could see a few write-ups and the pictures that go along with them? The preview on Lulu doesn't give me a lot to go on as to whether I would want to purchase this or not.
  19. Re: Thundarr the Barbarian on DVD Alex Toth designed the three main characters. Jack created the others through the series.
  20. Re: I am Spartacus There was so much CGI blood that it became the norm and easy to ignore. Regardless, I am looking forward to the mini-series with John and Lucy. Pete
  21. Re: I am Spartacus Because it must have been incredible fun for him? He looked like he was having a total blast doing it. Pete
  22. Re: I am Spartacus I also finished the series and agree with [/url]NuSoardGraphite. I found it very well plotted and everything was done for a reason giving a very very good pay off at the end. Yes, the first ep wasn't great. They needed time to get some legs under the series. John Hannah as Lentulus Batiatus stole the show. Lucy Lawless as Batiatus's wife was very good as well. Pete
  23. Re: 'Hero System' online Trevor Walker and I have spent nearly ten years building a GM tool to help run your combats and test your characters in combat. Until you actually try to write the code, you can't really see the type of complex modules and constructions you have to create to deal with all the features and options built in the Hero System through version 5E. It would be cool if we would finish it before a new version of Hero came out. Pete
