  1. Re: Aigulf miniatures now available in the Hero Store. The site was hacked a while ago and I'm going to be transferring the site over to a new host. one that takes security a bit more seriously. I have to let the contract expire. For now, all announcements and such will be on our Facebook group.
  2. Re: Aigulf miniatures now available in the Hero Store. 28mm Unpainted
  3. Re: Making Hero 6E More Dangerous (Skyrealms of Jorune Conversion) ? I use 6E for my gritty, low-fantasy setting of Kamarathin. I can guarantee you it can be deadly.
  4. Re: Aigulf miniatures now available in the Hero Store. Glee!
  5. Re: +1 DC only with Haymaker Correct, it is for a heroic game and it is part of a weapon build. I'm working on developing a 'Design your own weapon' system for the Kamarathin setting, that incorporates concepts from Killer Shrikes website and those found Fantasy Hero. The system is VERY rough right now, but here is what a typical Hand Axe would look like, mechanically, at this point in time. I have only barely started on it so not all aspects of the system are in place, for example, the hand axe can be thrown, but I haven't got to that point yet, so it isn't in this sample build. As the player progresses through the system, each choice will affect the STR Minima, weight, cost, manufacturing time and materials, the DEF and Body of the weapon, etc.
  6. Re: +1 DC only with Haymaker And I just had a giant dissertation that made me realize that I need to replace that with OAF. Sigh
  7. Re: +1 DC only with Haymaker Here's what I built: Keep in mind that this is only for axes and would be a part of the weapon build, and is replicating a special maneuver that Steve Long mentions in the 6E Fantasy Hero. I'm just trying to assign mechanics to it.
  8. Re: +1 DC only with Haymaker I'm trying to build the special maneuver listed for Axes on P.214 of Fantasy Hero. A +1 DC is not the same as +1d6 KA.
  9. Hello all, I'm stuck on a build. I want to have a bonus that only increases the DC of a Haymaker for a Killing Attack (as opposed to a flat +1d6 or somesuch). Anyone have an idea of how to do that? Would I use a 3pt. Combat Skill level?
  10. Re: Advantages on Strength, with limitations, Advantages and Martial Arts You'd build the brass knuckles with the advantage of "Affects Desolid".
  11. Re: 6e books, 4 of them for "core" rules? You can use the Basic Rulebook all by itself, but it is best for people new to Hero System. I'm not sure what the Upgraded Basic book is. I've never heard of that. 6E1 & 6E2 are teh main books you will need. 6E1 is geared for character creation and 6E2 is for running games.
  12. Re: Here Be Dragons [PDF] now available. It's ok, we won't tell anyone.
  13. Re: Urban Fantasy Hero Book of Power: the Blood Qur'an I had heard rumors of this thing when I was in Desert Storm. Kinda weird to see that it's real.
  14. Re: Blind Immortal Sohei The Hero System Martial Arts book would be perfect for this.
  15. Re: Goblyn There isn't any reason to buy separate attacks for each hand/foot. Otherwise, whether or not something is appropriate for a character is completely up to you and/or the GM to determine.
  16. Re: Force Wall base size (5E) So that's 2m x 2m correct?
  17. Hello all, I don't have access to my 5E Hero book and I need to know what the starting size is for a Force Wall?
  18. Re: Hit Locations Done and done
  19. Re: Here Be Dragons [PDF] now available. Here's the ToC. As for more Middle ages support I'm certainly open to it, it just depends on what authors approach me with.
  20. Re: Spells of Pleasure and Pain Gracias!
  21. Re: Spells of Pleasure and Pain Those hourly rates'll kill ya
  22. Hello all, In one of the campaigns I'm running a villain is part of a 'Slaaneshi' style cult and has spells dedicated to inflicting mind numbing pleasure and pain. I was wondering if there was a good resource that you may know of, for spells in that vein. I need inspiration.
  23. Re: Knowledge Skills for Medieval Surgeon/Doctor Their blood is blue not purple, duh!
