...the Enig-Maw!
Actually, it's a nebula.
Dr. Infamous wishes to reassure everyone that the Enig-Maw is totally under control. No, really.
BTW, I'm pointing this out because a star-forming region would be a fascinating place to send a team of PCs.
The Enig-Maw and Dr. Infamous are products of Basil's Twisted Imagination, Ink. The Eagle Nebula, however, is real; there's no way I could make up something like that.

Re: 50 statessuper- villians
Are you trying to say something? The idea has been done to death. 50 states this, 50 states that.
Give it up. At least, give it a rest.
It's had its time, that time is done.

Re: DC-What if you had to draft a superpower registration act?
By not helping' date=' they will just make a law that does what they want without regard to superpowered beings.[/quote']By the time some committee of legislators ask "outsiders" for opinions, the fix is in; the law will be whatever was decided in some back-room "horse trading" or by unelected bureaucrats who really run things.
I would refuse to have anything to do with the process; I refuse to help give it any veneer of legitimacy. Further, I refuse to be associated with any law to remove people's right.

Aren't barbeques hard?

...that can be the most horrifying. If they come in large swarms.
Such as these caterpillars.
There's definitely a scenario seed in there.

Dr. Infamous wants to know if any of them come with laser eyes. Because his supersonic telepathic mechanical penguins with laser eyes aren't anywhere NEAR as good looking.
Dr. Infamous and the S.T.M.P.w/L.E's are products of Basil's Twisted Imagination Invisible. All riots broken up.

Here's the article from Nature Magazine's website:

That's the original the before-cited article is based on. Oh, and it's got an "artist's reconstruction" painting.

It doesn't have to arrive at our galaxy. It just has to get within range of their starfleet.
And do so at about the time they all "wake up" from their millennia-long hibernation.

Re: "Neat" Pictures
Here we see a photograph of the CSNISS* Pathmaker, the first space ship to use a pseudo-space drive. Unusually, this photo was taken in real space; it was a happy accident that an amateur astronomer snapped a pic just as the Pathfinder went by.
To be more accurate, this is a picture of the "referent"; that is, of the "reflection" into real space of a pseudo-space object. This accounts for its translucent and blurry appearance. The brightly glowing spot towards the right is the exhaust of the nuclear engines, which make up the diffuse area towards the center. Due to the perspective as well as the nature of a "referent," the multiple nuclear engines, and the fuel tanks for them, appear lopsided.
The living quarters, included the control room, etc., are to the left. In this picture, they have mostly faded from view; such is not unusual in "referents." All in all, though, this is a historic picture, of a historic space ship. After the loss of the Pathmaker, this, some publicity videos, and a few blueprints are the only remains of that glorious ship and its brave, doomed crew.
*Co-ordinated Solar Nations' InterStellar Ship
Actually, it's a comet passing in front of the Pleiades; here's details. BTW, I'm multi-posting this to the Star HERO forum.
