Re: A Thread for Random Musings Nobody fessed up about the apple. I got 10 hours of sleep last night. I'm always amazed how tired I am after getting a lot of sleep. Kind of wish I'd stayed up 'til some ungodly hour, just so I could at least feel vaguely productive on top of the sleepiness. *yawn*

Re: A Thread for Random Musings Someone brought me an apple today. While I appreciate the sentiment, I don't eat food if I don't know where it came from. Kind of a personal rule. I hope someone tells me who brought it. It looks good. It's just odd to return to one's office and find an apple on one's desk.

Re: The Last Word Yes. We point it at the wall, and he makes that part machine gun, part hiss noise at it. It makes me giggle every time. Anything's possible. Though I've never met a dog with retractable claws and such soft fur. His behavior could easily be explained by the fact that he's part Bengal cat. Apparently those are quirky little critters. It at least explains his obsession with the water dish.
