  2. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat "You traded in our bed for 2 twin-sized ones? Why????"
  3. Re: The Last Word He might be part basketball, but we can't afford the genetic tests.
  4. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER o v O Bizarrely, I have no doubt in my mind that's exactly what she's going to do.
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You're not. White wine is odd when it tastes dry . . .
  6. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Just some white wine my co-worker gave me to taste. If I gotta be a supertaster, I might as well put it to good use!
  7. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER No. Really. I appreciated the interruption. . . . . Why the heck do I type better when I'm slightly buzzed?
  8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Never thought I'd say this . .. but thanks for the interruption.
  9. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Sin City in an almost-empty theater. Followed by a pleasant wine buzz. Then a thunderstorm. Yeah, I'm gonna have WEIRD dreams tonight. ^ v ^
  10. Re: The Last Word Thanks, but I'll save the congrats for people with even awesomer post-to-rep ratios and for those who've hit benchmarks. ^ v ^
  11. Re: The Last Word . . . . Oh, indeed. Congrats.
  12. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I hate having to register train people who are more competent than me. While it's nice to get away from the computer for about 2 hours, the feeling stupid part could be skipped entirely. Basically, the guy's a freelance writer (published) who needed a day job, probably at least 10 years older than me, funnier, and about a foot and a half taller. Yeesh.
  13. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Unexpected money is always nice.
  14. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Well, okay. So long as it's not a comment on the player, herself. I have trouble telling the difference, sometimes. ^ v ^
  15. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER How kind of him to assume he knows what's going through her head while all this is going on.
  16. Re: Musings on Random Musings Well, it's not my USUAL reaction to seeing him standing over me when I wake up. And it WAS really funny.
  17. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Nah, this is current game time, back in Easthaven, waking up from her long period of dreamless unconsciousness. If, right this very second, someone demanded of her who she liked better, she'd unhesitatingly answer, "Rehson." Not that it'll necessarily stay that way, but that's where it stands right now.
  18. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Fair 'nuff. But just so you know what that'll do to at least one set of character interactions: Vivian knows plenty of people who think they're better than she is. It's not that she hates those people; she figures they have a point. She just isn't interested in interacting with them.
  19. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Not unless you count The Screech That Stops People In Their Tracks. Heehee. Once upon a time (and stop me if you've heard this story already), I was talking to my sister in the living room, when we heard a thud, then a wail. "Al! I dropped my book!" whined my mother. We heard my father stomp up the cellar stairs. He came up, picked up her book from the bedroom floor, then stomped back down to the cellar. My sister and I lost it. We were laughing so hard, tears were streaming out of our eyes.
  20. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I've never seen The Shield (and am fading fast . . typing skills rapidly deteriorating . . .) Just wanted to say my mother's legs were bruised from getting bigger too fast when I saw her over Christmas. They were the width of your average scrub pine trunk.
