Re: Ten Best Superhero Martial Arts Since you asked, the difference between judo and jujitsu is the lethality. Originally, all martial arts in Japan were taught to be lethal. Then along came a big wave of political change, and people found the need to still learn martial arts without knowing how to kill anyone. So if it ends in -jitsu, it's supposed to be deadly. If it ends in -do, it's supposed to be the 'softer' form. This only applies to Japanese martial arts.

We were going to Dr. Silverback's lab to stop a fire, and it was . . . I forget the guy's name, but he's radioactive and an underling of Dr. Destroyer's. Anyway, between the egotistical scientist and superpowered older teen in our group, we had a healthy dose of ego in that game. And I'm not talking about the stat.

Re: What's the most ridiculous PC you've ever been subjected to? Actually, this happened to another GM I played (with? under? Either of those sound wrong. ). Anyway, Combat Wombat, featured in many threads, failed to make it to a game session with some major combat. Two phases in, we had two VERY unconscious characters, one who couldn't do anything against the villains, and one off fighting one-on-one with the brick villain. We were all very upset. He was upset that we were upset, until we explained that the problem was, he'd created characters who had a chance against CW. He agreed with us on that point, and let us toss new characters into the fray during our next session. With the new characters helping out and CW's return, we didn't have any trouble.
