  1. Re: Power Crusher I can not remember. Was his costume really that garish ? I remember a black and white picture in forth Edition and Classic Enemies. But I can not remember the color descriptions.....
  2. Re: Super Fantasy- The Land of Mar'Veldc It was AFAIK. It was a four Issue limited series. I have/had the Issuses. As for the DC part. The Dark Knight brings up some Ideas.
  3. Re: WW2 metahuman emergence. The Philladelphia Experiment ? Or is that too late for you ?
  4. Re: Meet The Alternates Damm you Internet! Now one is required to even read the small print in Messageboards..... ( )
  5. Re: Meet The Alternates I must say I disagree. He/she has the Inventor Skill, Scientist with the following: 2 1) SS: Chemistry 13- 2 2) SS: Electrical Engineering 13- 2 3) SS: Metalurgy 13- 2 4) SS: Physics 13- 2 5) SS: Power Systems 13- why should the Character be unable to build his Armor? Dex and Con look good enough to me too.
  6. Re: Kolonel Kriegkopf (translation Colonal Warhead) Most current Germans would avoid beeing seen in one dead.(http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickelhaube for those who have never seen one) It is easyer to get a real Stetson then a Pickelhaube in Germany. (I have tried.) Hmmm. Sounds like 10d6 Explosion, no Range, Personal Immunity from the Exploding side.
  7. Re: Kolonel Kriegkopf (translation Colonal Warhead) Yupp. What Legatus says. But isn´t the Helmet a bit much ?
  8. Re: How do you build: Multiple personality disorder? And a Headache to pay for if you intend it as a PC.
  9. Re: Empowered by Adam Warren Ugh. Willy Pete makes a apperance ? That sounds really sick from what I read about him in the first three books. (Must buy it......)
  10. Re: Edward Hoffmann: WWII German Mage True
  11. Re: Edward Hoffmann: WWII German Mage WW2 ? Poison Gas ? Regulary used ? I think you confuse it with WW 1. They only used it in Gaschambers.
  12. Re: Edward Hoffmann: WWII German Mage Nah. In a conventional WarZone there are not many Gas Attacks running around. Especially in WW2. Same for Flashbangs and Stuff. You can not have a defense against everything. ....and sometimes its helpful for the story if you go down..... But as I said before: I know nothing about your game!
  13. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Alone getting the Idea. I liked that Film.
  14. Re: Edward Hoffmann: WWII German Mage I do not know the premisses of your game. But did you consider Lightning Reflexes ? (If allowed.) What is the rest of your Team ? Your FF is pretty tough. So you do not need to worry about most conventional attacks. (At least in my opinion.)
  15. Re: Edward Hoffmann: WWII German Mage Considering that he is a 75 base Points Character, may I suggest that you reduce him to Dex 18 and SPD 4 ? I think you can get some Points free from that.
  16. Re: Edward Hoffmann: WWII German Mage A bit low on STUN and CON. The Magical End Battery is a real Lifesaver because of it. You need two more XP.
  17. Re: The Shadow Lord 7000 points. Do you use him ? Or is he just a exercise ?
  18. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Likely to be very true.
  19. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Sorry ?
  20. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Done. You do the backround.......
  21. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Correct. There was also something called Reichsarbeitsdienst that every male was required to get into. It was for six months before(!!) military (2 years). Thes Guys were also organized in the Organisation Todt. (No Todt is only a family name. Nothing to do with death at all. )
  22. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Ladys and Gentleman here is one of the most feared men in Nazi Germany (feared by the Nazis): the Proletarian History: Johannes „Hans“ Klotz parents were Kommunists of the first Hour. They marched with Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht. They educated their son to be a firm believer of the Peoples Cause but they died relative early. Several Party Members took over little Hans education and finally the boy was send to Russia. The bright young man was earmarked early for a potential Agent and the required steps in his education were taken by the appropiate Bureaus. In 1927 Hans was reinserted into Germany, then a asisstant of the original Proletariat. He established a Identity as a slightly crippeled Worker for the german financial Office and started spying on the rich. The original (german) Proletarian worked hard to redistribute wealth towards the poor and fight for the working man. In 1936 he left for Spain to fight for the cause. He never returned. In 1937 Hans took over his mantle on orders of the party. In 1939 when the Party suddenly allied with the Fascists Hans was surprised (as every german party member) and seeing how Propaganda suddenly started towards portraying the fascists different he quickly became disillousioned. As the War started to drag on Hans began his own War against the Nazis. He started with suplying Information to allied Forces, bribing and blackmailing Nazis, rescuing Jews, fellow Party-Members and even Socialists and Catholics. In 1942 he had his own little Underground – Railway toward Swizerland and Turkey and was considered a primary source on german Industrial Secrets by russian and british Secrets Agencys. Not to mention the amount of Industrial Sabotage he personally wought..... He was last seen in 1945. Rumor has it he died in 1945 during the final siege of Berlin. Powers: The Proletarian is a Micro-Brick with strong Disguise Skills. He carries a big Hammer that aids his already powerful blows. His strength and speed increase when he considers himself „the Proletarian“ (sort of selfhypnosis). His Costume is lightly armored and he has been subject to so many dreadful rumors that he is particulary scary to the average german. Addendum: I had in my World several Proletarians, there were at least four german, two cubans and at least a dozend russians bearing that name.
  23. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions I spend some time thinking further about this. I came up with a problem. Germany has the Draft (which Legatus elegantly sidesteped. Bravo !). This means that potential german resistance Supers have to be female, elderly or very young. Youth also has a little problem, namley the little Issue that nearly every german Child/Youth was in the Hitleryouth or Bund deutsche Maedel (if female) (Currently I am investigating if that was actually required or voluntarily.)
  24. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Very true.
  25. Re: "Es lebe die Freiheit!"- German Resistance Champions Here is the Hawk (der Falke ). Paul Kurz was the Son of a Archeologist. He grew up in Egypt and the eastern Desert. He learned the lay of the Land and could speak the local Languages passingly. Shortly before the start of the War, when Paul was doing his required military Service his father send him a parcel of a Object he had discovered for safekeeping. Paul kept the package close but he discovered soon that somebody was trying to get it. A fight ensued and something happened. Two fractions started trading mystical blasts with Paul in the middle. Paul was caught by one of the blasts and there was a odd light effect. Not realy hurt Paul clobbered both fighters and tried to run away to get help, suddenly he discovered that he was several meters above the ground... One of his Attackers turned out to be a member of the Thule Society that had tried to harness the mystical Power of the Object Pauls Father had discovered. ( The second person was never really identified.) Paul handed the Object to the military ( unfortunatley its Power had been depleted) and claimed that nothing had really happened to him. He used his flying power only sparsly in the beginning but started to investigate what had happened. In time he learned what had happened to several Jews and outspoken Critics of the Party, but he was in the Army and had to be cautious. He served quitely during the Invasion of France and the Attack on Greece A lot of things changed when he was recruited by the Abwehr and was send to northern Africa to observe the progress of the Italian Army. Of course he was made an Officer. Then came Rommel and the Africa Korps and the first allied Paranormals appeard in Tobruk, somebody had to turn the tide. Paul donned a mask and started to help his Countrymen. Then he discovered more about what had happened to his father and Pauls doubts were finally confirmed. Unfortunatley the Ally`s already knew he was one of the „Superaryans“ and he had trouble switching sides but he started going a lot more easy on his enemys........ But his Heart was not in it anymore, contemplating going AWOL he finally asked the Leader he admired most: Rommel. The Fieldmarshal persuaded him to stay and help Germany. (The Allied demands of unconditional surrender and the start of the russian advance galvaniated a lot of Germans into fighting harder....) In 1944 he was recruited by Admiral Canaris to help getting finally rid of the Führer. Unfortunatley he was in France when Staufenberg had a Chance to kill Hitler and blew up the Wolfsschanze. He was killed trying to defend Rommel. (This Guy is a Npc. He was the Granddad of a PC, he was scheduled to appear in a Time Travel Adventure. He might need a few Contacts and a couple of Grenades to be more dangerous.)
