Re: The cranky thread If it makes you feel any better, I've been sick three times so far this year not counting the food poisoning. Little boys are great at breeding germs, it seems. As for morning sickness--my wife and I eventually figured out that the constant queasiness was alleviated by constant grazing on crackers and other easily digestible stuff. Of course, everyone is different. She never did have to drive the porcelain bus anywhere.

Deadly Blow could also be set on charges or with a limited time (keeping with the Paladin theme here). "Holy Wrath", Deadly Blow, Any Attack, 1 Charge, Charge recovers when character prays at appropriate altar for an hour. "Infused Vindication", Deadly Blow, Melee Attacks Only, 1 Charge Lasting 1 Turn, Charge recovers when character makes sacrifice of fresh Moon Lilies.

I had always been afraid to, because I liked them so much, and I was afraid I'd find out they were some kind of invasive species or sucked blood or something. But they're now the official county bird, and they're endangered, and still as beautiful as ever.

Re: Musings on Random Musings I have no real problem bailing others out of emergencies they've created... now and then. When it becomes a habit, and they begin to assume that I will always save them from themselves, that's when it begins to bother me.

Re: The cranky thread The people who wrote the software library did it in such a way that Cancer has to write twice as much code to do the same thing. It is especially dumb because it's busywork code; the computer ought to be able to figure that out by itself.
