  1. King Reptillon's fluff and giant heap of plot seeds are done. On to Sr'Thoz the Shaman!
  2. King Reptillon's sheet is done! Tomorrow I'll get started on his huge heap of plot seeds, since he's a second master villain, and then we'll move on to slightly easier characters to build. We're at 36,000 words already. This is amazing.
  3. Had to own it as soon as I saw it. Much fun. Thanks.
  4. King Reptillon's sheet is finished. Now it's just his fluff, and more plot seeds than you can shake his staff of rulership at!
  5. The work on King Reptillon proceeds. Also added a vehicle tentatively titled "The Building Grabber."
  6. Are you a bad enough employee of Muppet Labs to save the President? Bad Doctor Bunsen Honeydudes!
  7. I actually have big problems with Hero Designer. When I use an actual calculator I get different numbers about 55 percent of the time.
  8. The Clay Heroes are complete! Work on King Reptillon begins tomorrow! We are at 33,600 words and are on page 72!
  9. When a Texas Ranger wanna-be rises from the dead... The Bone Ranger When it's a gay porn movie The Boned Ranger
  10. The Clay Heroes sheets are completed. Fluff over the next couple of days!
  11. He fled the Shire into the desert, only to be blasted by a Gamma Bomb! Now, the madder he gets, the stronger he gets! Bill Bixbo is The Incredible Hobbit!
  12. Champions Complete is very good. There are five things you need to watch out for. 1) Growth: This power has some issues in this edition. 2) Shrinking: Shrinking is now super-efficient. Be careful with the results. 3) Transfer is gone, replaced with Drain + Aid. This can get mechanically awkward at times. Be careful. 4) Damage Negation: This power simulates certain things very well, but if you're used to 4th, it slows down combat A LOT. Be careful when using it. 5) Skill Levels with Limitations: All skills are now general. If you want more specific skills (That aren't sciences, knowledges, professions, or places), you take a limitation for it. I've never been a fan of this particular mechanic, because it opens a very bad door, but you can feel free to make of it what you will.
  13. This is exactly what I'm talking about. I love the silly putty slug. That's hilarious. My players are currently in a situation that's kind of ugly. They followed these magical people to an area 51 type location, and they might lose. If they do lose, I have a plan for what happens. It won't be good for them. The villains are mystic types who have a relationship to one of the heroes, but the villains also ressurrected an old member of the team to fight them. So this is going to be really ugly. They aren't powerful, but they don't need to be. Usually, the shock of fighting someone who used to be on your side is enough to throw people off their game.
  14. I finally finished the Warriors of Atlantis fluff. That took way longer than expected. Sorry. On to the Clay Heroes of Khitan. My hope is to have all the character sheets done by the end of July and then prep for Gencon.
  15. Today I completed the sheets for the Warriors of Atlantis. I'll write the fluff over the next two days and move on to the clay heroes of Khitan.
  16. Wolf-Men of Pangaea complete. On to the Warriors of Atlantis.
  17. I finished the Wolf Men of Pangaea this morning! I just have to write their fluff over the next couple of days. Then it's on to the warriors of atlantis and the clay heroes of Khitan. Then we'll move on to the next sheet batch.
  18. Finally! The Fish Men of Mu are done! I got sidetracked a little between Imaginary Friends, Father's Day at work, and adjusting to my new job. I have a lot of work to do and I hope to finish it all soon. MIchael
  19. One of the things I do is make sure the rules for Focus are followed if the focus isn't indestructible. If the character takes body, a focus with more than one power loses a power, defensive powers are lost last. This is particularly useful in the case of Powered Armor characters, where the focus covers their entire body.
  20. Dan Quayle High? AIEEEEEE! It burns, it burns!!!! Just like the "potatoe" it spawned!
  21. The Fire Riders of Lemuria are completed. On to the Fish Men of Mu. It just wouldn't be the same without some fish men. Note that these are not the same fish men as Doctor Deepstar's Fearsome Fish Men, who will appear later.
  22. The background for the Spider Headed Men is now complete! Imaginary Friends editing is calling me away for a few days, but I'll be back with more cool updates as soon as I can. We're at 25354 words and 55 pages! Michael
  23. Manimal Planet (Yeah. I did it. I brought "Manimal" into it. Manimal was practically a genre crossover nightmare by itself.)
  24. Champions Complete recommends the classic scale of one hex equalling 2 meters.
