  1. Re: A Thread for Random Videos Google is my friend It's about 5 minutes long. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5000052517830093216&q=sand+art
  2. Re: A Thread for Random Videos I have an incredible video to share but I don't have anyplace to put it and it 5.5 megs in size. Once I either find someplace to put it, or find a copy on the web, I'll post it here.
  3. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I haven't even started Civ IV yet, but I have a Civ III game that I'm currently playing if that would help you any assess anything.
  4. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Maybe I don't want to play... I can barely get past the second difficulty level...
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I don't know how to play yet myself so I wouldn't be considering it for a while. I was just curious. I would probably play the PBEM version so that I don't have to devote a bunch of time at once to playing a game.
  6. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So who all has Civ IV now? Do we have enough that want to participate in a game?
  7. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. Didn't Rainbow Archer use one of those?
  8. Re: Duke (art and characters) Thanks! Ewww.... The graphic refreshes on each page... At least it is quick.
  9. Re: Duke (art and characters) None of the links save the Links link work in the main window...
  10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Yup. Sure does. I was just making sure it didn't have any additional "features" movies, etc. What was the URL of the site you mentioned that had a good tutorial on it?
  11. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So you have the 2 CDs as well?
  12. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Well, it turns out that my evil wife went ahead and surprised me by buying Civ IV last night. Now, I have to figure out how to fit it into my rather busy schedule without losing all the time... Quick question, I noticed that there are two versions of the game. There is a DVD version and a 2 CD version which I got. Is there any difference between the two?
  13. Re: charictor picture, teen champions Agreed. I would take the lace off the boots though.
  14. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. I love it! I am so going to use him!
  15. Re: New "Mystery Powers" game This is more along the lines that I was thinking. I am thinking that everyone will get additional disads to even them out.
  16. Re: New "Mystery Powers" game Well, what would you suggest?
  17. Re: charictor picture, teen champions I think it is well done for a first time.
  18. I'm starting a new PbP game that has players creating "Competent Normals" on 75 points, and then gaining one power or power set (haven't decided yet) at the beginning of the game based on their character writeup. Superpowers in the world are considered pure fantasy and stuff of dreams. So my question is what do you think the "super version" of characters should be point wise? This is going to be low power, and I'm initially leaning toward the 250 point range, but wanted to get your feedback from your experiences.
  19. Re: Champions (Super)Hero Resources The link for the Gold Rush Games site is to our old site. The new one is here. Oh, and the "official" Dragon's Gate link is here.
  20. Re: Duke (art and characters) Just finished going through the thread. Very nice work Duke! I look forward to seeing more of it. I also checked out your site. What were the cartoon illustrations for?
  21. Re: charictor picture, teen champions That's pretty good for an 'engineer'. What technique did you use to make it? Is it hand drawn/scanned/photoshopped/etc.?
  22. Re: New to game whcih books do I buy?? The Champions book has an entire section on random heroes. It might be worth trying that out just to get started and to see what different archetypes are like.
  23. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Watched Brotherhood a year or two ago. Yes, very gory. They really could have shortened those war scenes quite a bit. I got that war was hell pretty quickly. They didn't need to shove it in my face. I think Sky High is one of if not the best High School movie ever made. It is practically flawless, and the superhero wrapper made it just that much more fun.
  24. Re: New to game whcih books do I buy?? Actually you want Hero Designer. That is the character creation software of choice.
  25. Re: A Thread for Random Videos Live action version of the opening scene of the Simpsons.
