  1. Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender Cool! Someone else thought of this as a setting! I watched the entire first book (season) with my son over Thansgiving weekend when they had the marathon. I've been mulling over the idea myself. I also have been reading and considering an Exalted game and find the two very closely linked. Has anyone done any work on this setting/characters/powers/etc?
  2. Re: Any interest in V&V converted to Champions? Many fond memories of V&V. I would be interested in seeing the conversions.
  3. Re: Enemies of San Angelo WOW!! I am pleased to see these responses. Always good to hear about folks using the SA line. I've seen a lot of talk about the city book and Enemies. How many of you are using the Denizens book? What were your impressions of it? As an aside, I went through and updated all the character stats in all the books to 5th ed, but we are waiting to put them into SACoH 2e once we figure out who makes the 'cut', and what their 'growth' will be. Mark and I have kicked around several ideas of the changes that have occurred over the last several years. You'll have to wait to see what those are. Also, we need to determine if it will be worth it to us to jump back into the line. I will also add that there are a few discussions on the GRG boards about the line and upcoming news for any interested in reading it.
  4. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Since it was given to me by the person who did the screen capture I believe I do.
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You sure you don't like catgirls?
  6. Re: Superhero Images This is what I have so far... For some reason her suit look red and gold with metalic accents to me, but what is the color scheme you have in mind, and what color is the ship? EDIT: Updated pic below.
  7. I have a question regarding Lingering in FH p.267. I'm having a really hard time understanding why I would ever use this. I've had several others try to explain it, but I'm either being thick or missing some piece of information. The way I see it currently is that you would apply it to something like a HKA, and it would keep that power "on" until the lingering period ended. However, when you use the HKA you still spend END. Why wouldn't I just recast the spell when I wanted to use it? I don't see the advantage that Lingering gives me. The GM mentioned using it for a VPP in the situation where you can only have a max of 50 Active Points worth of spells you cast 2 25 point spells with lingering and then you can cast other spells. But if the GM decides not to use that rule, I don't see how Lingering is useful. The other example was, a "Fire Whip". You cast the Fire Whip spell that has lingering for 2 minutes and it is available during that time to attack with, but you are still going to spend the END each time it is used, so wouldn't that be more of a special effect to be holding a fire whip in your hands and basically recasting the spell when you wanted to do damage? Help... I'm confused.
  8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You may want to stay clear of adding me should a replacement be needed. I would probably through your data way off. I usually only get repped about once every couple weeks, but it is usually the big reppers that do it, so I make huge leaps when it happens. Although it might be an interesting paradyme...
  9. Re: Superhero Images Ok. I misread your description apparently, and yup I totally missed the belt. This better?
  10. Re: Superhero Images Finally made it home and able to fire up the computer again... Anyway, is this what you were talking about? I wasn't sure if I got the segments correct.
  11. Re: Superhero Images Na na na na...
  12. Re: Superhero Images Nice! I actually got sort of close. I'll make a couple changes and post it later today.
  13. Re: Superhero Images 2 and 3. 2 is during the day and 3 is at night.
  14. Re: Superhero Images OH? Well then I'm done. That was easy.
  15. Re: Superhero Images What is the color scheme for this one?
  16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Thanks Mantis I appreciate any help I can get. I'm still pounding my head on those same issues. I'm starting to think it will require more info from HD, but since I can't figure out exactly what, I can't ask Dan for anything yet. I think this is one of those 'big' projects that usually die due to frustration.
  17. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER 255 it's all binary
  18. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER It's too bad the catsuit thread is no longer around otherwise I would have posted this link, to a completely worksafe picture site that others could visit and see if they could use it. http://fsu.facebook.com/album.php?aid=70103&page=1&l=7920d&id=5226986
  19. Re: Superhero Images Thank you sir.
  20. Re: Superhero Images There are a lot of different skin tones for the Maori, so I went with a middle tone, hopefully it was what you were thinking of. I'm not sure I got the beige and olive correct, but they are easy enough to tweak, and if you happen to have color samples post them and I can match them. Hopefully this is close to what you were envisioning overall.
  21. Re: Superhero Images Got a color scheme for him?
  22. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Ok, I now have the first version of the PDF export done, and have run into the next snag. I need to figure out how to control tab stops as it seems the tab character just enters 3 blank spaces. The second problem is I need to figure out how to tell it to start a second page, and control where the bottom margin is. Otherwise it is coming along fine. Here is what I have so far if you want to take a look at it.
