My timing was perhaps a bit unfortunate. While things had seemed to be getting back into the swing of things with that campaign, the GM in question (not much more than an hour after I posted, mind you) mentioned on twitter that he might be taking a break from GMing for a bit. Here is the link for the recordings of the first few sessions, though.

Harriette Lester was from England and had immigrated to avoid imprisonment.  When she arrived Stateside she took up with a flashy young man who turned her into a prostitute. The shame she felt from this betrayal caused her to take her own life.  But something went wrong and the poison she took didn't kill her but gave her ghostlike abilities. She took her revenge on the flashy young man and hid away when the authorities came looking for her.

Are you envisioning them as a hero or villain?

You could go with a clown motif, and the pumpkins become firecrackers, cream pies or the like.

Viper because they are a campaign villain group in my world, apparently just at the start of their criminal intentions and Syria cause I also think that they can achieve some sort of Political Will from aiding the country and lessening their Evil Reputation!!

I have a copy and have been running it with my new Champions game.

As a side, the heroes in my game have no powers yet, they are skills only (and scientists at that), so when I had VIPER show up, I had them run the Viper agents and I had a single hero to deal with them... (to have your new heroes learn about taking damage without it hurting them)

During the first salvo, one of the Agents using an auto fire RKA shot my hero 3 times, I was using the stat sheet for Blue Jay (not built to 6E and to my horror realized she has no resistant defences  She was taken out and the agents got away with a little cash and some unregistered gift cards from the gas station they had robbed!

Its a good Movie!!

And Red Doom was a supplement that had Russian Heroes, they were portrayed as villains but they were definetely pro- Russia!!

To those who were in the Chat meeting today,  not sure if any of you have the skills for it, but can someone make a simplified XML sheet according to how we want the characters sheets to appear for this product?

Well that's kind of what I was thinking of, and the hundreds of scenes in various anime and manga where something goes horribly and embarrassingly wrong in a comical way.  But I don't know the magic girl genre well enough, that might be too much a violation of the concept and I want the option to feel like something really familiar and fun.

I think there should be a sidebar item with chances for all new heroes to "Flub" it up. That way everyone has the chance to laugh at everyone else...

I'm reminded of Ron's broken wand in Prisoner of Azkaban. I think the side effects should be tied to a failed roll. It's way more amusing that way!!
