Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
But if it's the exact opposite; if they're being put on pedestals for sharing their assets . . .Of course we'd like them on pedestals, that way we can

Re: Hero 5th vs. M&M
Chill, guys. No hostility. And if I were any mellower, I'd slip into a coma. Oh, an it's not my second post -- just my first couple in a while. Strangely enough, the system seems to have dropped my count -- haven't seen anything I felt like posting a reply to in over a year and apparently there's a time limit on our counts. Ah, well...I'll weather the loss with dignity.
Well, in Feb 2003 we all had to start over.
Welcome aboard. (again)

If this isn't a sign that my temp-to-hire job should be made permanent:The Sr. Accountant that I report to is named David Grond.
Is he really unlucky? Does he get frustrated easily?

Re: The cranky thread
Why must the office be vacuumed in midafternoon? Why?So you can be sure if they unplug your systems for the vacuum, you can thwack them.

Why not make the coat out of human pubic hair? Seriously' date=' you could probably make a full length coat out of what I sweep up in the bathroom in a year.[/quote']Maybe you should shave elsewhere?

Re: Musings on Random Musings
Why don't more animals have pubic hair?My wife says that one of our cats is covered in pubic hair.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
The g/f found her missing cat. It seems she (the cat) was hiding in the garage for several days, sneaking out only rarely to eat and...um...do her bidness in the litter box.One issue down, several more to go...
Good that the cat was found. I've seen too many cases of the cat making a break for it and no effort made in retrieval.
Good luck on the other stuff.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
I sit here reading the "Musings on Random Musings" Threads and then realize I have no frickin' clue how to quote from one thread and put it into another. So, I lamely wait for someone else to start a string and then pounce on it.On another note - What, does everybody stay up late just to post?
What I do is hit reply in Random Musings to what I want to answer, and then a blank reply in Musings on Random. Then I do the cut'n'paste.
I stay up pretty late in any case. Though the last couple nights I've been getting to bed by 2am.

Re: The cranky thread
Pets aren't supposed to die of cancer. I lost two dogs and a turtle to it.It's pretty sad. We lost our Kimmy cat a couple years ago to a stomach tumor.
Cosequin is something we give one of our cats for arthritis. (A couple cats at the shelter too, including the 20 year old). It might help, but I'd check with the vet for dosage, etc... for the doggies.

Re: The cranky thread
Gah. The cabling is going slowly. I knew I'd have to take up some floor boards in the upstairs, but since they interlock, I'll have to remove about 20 of the damn things.

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
It's a new toy.
I'll get tired of it.
I do like seeing them in NGD art and the election thread though.

If she sees herself as scrawny & under developed, she'd probably go for more baggy clothing.
What other personality quirks does she have?

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
Actually just put in an "index.html" file in there and you won't have to. I know a couple of other tricks too that you could use if you want.Heck. I just make the directory non-browsable.
