Re: Musings on Random Musings
Hrmph. Halfway through my first five auctions on eBay and nary a bid to be seen. So much for instant economic and ego gratification.I had that happen on several of my auctions lately. Though most action does seem to happen near the end.

I'm worried about youI hate it when things get all wonky.
NGD, where it's always wonky.

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
Koko Kennedy post.Really? Was it just a enough to push you over with previous record? I just saw that post and went "eh?".

Re: What is it about Champions?
There is no problem so great that it cannot be solved by a suitable application of high explosives.Reminds me of a Cthuhlu game. We blew up the center of a small town to get rid of some spawn. Happy times.

Re: Gimme a cool challenge...
Here he is...Since you didn't give me an "official" name yet, I'll call him 'Navajo' for now:I began by trying a more-standard-clothing style on him, and he was just looking bland. His powers' special effects aside, he could've been any old Native American character from any old setting. I figured I'd go for something a little more superhero-ish and see how it went.
Let me know what you think.
Very cool. I like the effect on the axe and the thunderbird meshes nicely with his clothing.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
I've had a PayPal account for a while now. I just never sat down to try and hammer out descriptions, shipping costs, etc. I only put five items up, but we'll see how I do. If that goes well I think I could get rid of bunches o' things.I appreciate the offer, too.
Take advantage of the USPS free boxes. You can order a set from them.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
I wonder how many people have said Asshole aloud while reading one of my posts.I don't think I ever have. But then I tend to use a different term.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
Parity in public response would be nice. Just for a start. Not too much to ask, I think. You see, when someone sees a need to excoriate me, they do so quite publically and everybody EVERY GOD-DAMNED BODY EXCEPT SOMEONE WHO TURNED OUT TO BE A MIRAGE just sits by quietly and lets it happen. I, on the other hand, get lectured. Publically. By, among others, you.So a bit of equal treatment, for either me or for him, would be a nice place to start.
Well, if you're going to be that thin skinned. I probably wince more from Doug's postings than yours, but will it help if I just call you both asses?
I respect both your works, but sometimes the two of you are tiring.
Oh, and Lemming? About that martyr thing: kiss off. I'd only be playing the martyr if it wasn't actually happening.Well, the reason I deleted my post and almost didn't notice this was I realized I was coming off a bad day and I've dealt just a bit much with the martyr syndrome for the past week. So my apologies for posting it at all.

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
Or possibly you should have more.Always a good plan. Well, except for the last bit of editing I'm doing for the shelter newsletter. Thankfully, it's just inserting some names in.

Re: Battle of Detroit
I don't even want to THINK of running a fight that big. Biggest fight I've ever been in was 18 characters(7 PCs vs. the entire Zodiac minus Pisces). It took place in my wizard character's pocket dimension. I was really on that day and my dice got hot. The Zodiac got creamed. It was a good day.Largest fight I ever ran had about 35 PCs and about that many villians. Plus another horde of agents. Six hour fight if I remember at the end of a multipart story. That was the second largest battle we had IIRC.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
But I wouldn't MIND being hit with a bread product. At least assuming it was a tastey one.Though I agree, that is an annoying statement...
The ones I like, I'll hand them a fresh roll. The ones that annoy me get hit with either a stale and/or moldy one.
We can turn this into a game I'm sure with interactive gaming pieces.
Bake various shapes and if you want a more Cthulhu atmosphere, you let the bread sit out for a couple weeks...

Re: A Thread for Random Musings
The next person who brings up the concept of them being a role-player and not a roll player will be hit with a bread product.

Re: The cranky thread
Oh good. As if I didn't have to have even more reminders.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
I wound up not selling the Blade Runner sketchbook or the signed Gorey poster. (Neither got up to reserve)
In some ways, it's a reflection on the economy. Not as much disposable income around. Back in 2000, I sold some stuff very quickly.
