  1. Thank you all for some excellent ideas. (I ran through all my Likes today in this thread.) Some of the suggested characters are absolutely going to be used. (I especially like Plantation and Steel Magnolia)

I also thought about having an invisible recon specialist as a riff on J.E.B. Stuart. (General Jeb? Any suggestions for a better name?) But I feel like I would be overdoing the Civil War generals bit if I had Stonewall, General Lee, and "Jeb" Stuart.

Can I be honest? I have used both of my character suggestions in actual games. They both did very well.

As for a better name for an invisible recon guy, you could use The Underground Soldier, who, as an ironic twist, could be an African American character working with the villains.

  2. Well, you have stone/earth, why not something a little different?

Plantation is a natural magic user. She can control wind, plants, and non-magical animals. Her favorite power is growing a tree underneath an opponent to force them in a tall location.

    Also slightly strange...

General D is a Necromancer. He likes to think that he is a natural leader. I have no idea on the powers, yet.

  3. On the back balcony, we have the goat cheese machine. At the push of a button, a slice of delicious goat cheese emerges from the tube. Farmers across the galaxy are trying to steal this ccontraption. (At that moment, Five farmers walk in with pitchforks)

Well, can you please help the store not get robbed?

    (After the Farmers are gone)

Anyways the machine contains no milk, no hormones, no fake milk. It just does that.

(After that the rogue, realizing the potential profit from the machine, steals it)

Well, at least I don't have to deal with those farmers anymore.

  4. Usually, I ran my games where I almost never gave out bonus XP, but I gave 3-4 XP per session regardless. In games with lots of people, I give out more, smaller games less. Usually at the very end of the entire story, I will give awards to my players based on game performance, character concepts, best roleplayed, and others. That is when I give Bonus XP for the next campaign.

  5. Visage of Divine Beauty:

Striking Appearance (Beauty, vs all characters) +10 to interaction skills and +10d6 to presence attacks (Unified Power -1/4)

    Cost: 30 active, 24 real

Flash (Sight) 4d6, Trigger (when you make a presence attack, trigger takes no time and resets automatically +1) (Unified Power -1/4)

    Cost: 40 active, 32 real

Not only can you cow most enemies easily, but the very sight of your beauty is enough to make them go blind!

    Umm... That's 70 AP.

  6. I used to run games with, believe it or not, 12 players! Yeah, it didn't turn out too well for me. Too many people in a swords and sorcery game wanting to play swords! I have reduced my play size to 7-8 people. It works better. I think 9 might be OK, but 11-12 (or further if you want a KYS kit) is too much.
