  1. Re: "Neat" Pictures ...Why can I not vote this up twice? I have two hands. Also, I don't think I've ever registered somewhere just to vote something up, before.
  2. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... ...I just realized: Your steampunk game is basically Technocratic: The Awakening.
  3. Re: Musings on Random Musings In the meantime they take detours; parts of your body share nerves. This is why, for example, eating ice cream can give you a headache (or so I've heard). If that happens, just warm of the roof of your mouth with your tongue. (I found that out myself).
  4. Re: "Neat" Pictures Personal appearance is important to Humans. Even the slacker appearance is half-deliberate (is a former lazy person).
  5. Re: The cranky thread Unfortunately, none of the teens who were talking about it being a great and funny thing, actually stuck their head out the window (on the bus) and got it ripped off by a pole.
  6. Re: The cranky thread Both shows show stupid people doing stupid things in an attempt to show people that doing stupid things is stupid. Both shows resulted in stupid people doing some of the stupid things the shows showed. Specifically, (IMU), the creators of the show were stunned that anyone thought Cartman was an example to follow and thus made him worse. For anyone who knows those things are stupid, the show can be funny and is redundant. For anyone who is likely to think those stupid ideas are great, the show is a source of inspiration. The net effect, from my own observations, is negative. Perhaps it's been too long since you've been in high school, but acting in the sort of manner of Beavis, Buthead and Cartman was popular in the schools I went to. My own personal experience is that the shows provided no preventive effect; that, in fact, it was the opposite. I stand by my experiences.
  7. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... I keep hearing good things about this game. One of these days, when I've gotten over my PTSD, I need to see if I can find/start a local gaming group and play some of these games.
  8. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Thanks.
  9. Re: Feeding a starship crew for a year Plus, the possibility of someone going crazy-suicidal and sabotaging food production. Hopefully, your screenings catches said possible tendencies.
  10. Re: Creating your undead horde, one corpse at a time Since it's basically OAF (possible OIF if the undead are sturdier), that sounds about right.
  11. Re: "Neat" Pictures ...Someone beat this man with the rep stick.
  12. Re: The cranky thread South Park was just as stupid and unwatchable when it was Beavis and Buthead.
  13. Re: Musings on Random Musings ...Last I heard, acupuncture does not do a thing about itches, so I'm not seeing the connection.
  14. Re: Musings on Random Musings If you scratch at one part of your body, you may be able to feel a sort of tingling where the nerve goes.
  15. Re: "Neat" Pictures ...Where do the orange ones come from?
  16. Re: The cranky thread So what? Hello Kitty defeated Cthulhu.
  17. Re: Creating your undead horde, one corpse at a time Summon (Undead), then enough extra uses (double number per +5 Real Points) to get you 1,000 Zombie Minions or whatever (Fingers say 50 RP). Add in Slavishly Devoted and Weak-Willed and they'll pretty much stick around forever. 20 Minutes Extra Time will even keep it from being too expensive.
  18. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Did you know there's a black hole in your dryer? A: Belated realization.
  19. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread I'm once again working on A Few Slight Delays.
