Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! They call him Blade. He's average height and weight but he moves with a feline grace. His hair is dark and cut shory but not Marine short. And he has a malicious smile when he hlolds his signature weapon. He uses a knife but any knife will do provided it is sharp. He has killed someone with a penknife. He circles his prey and doesn't speak even when in custody. He'll shrug and smile so you know that he understands you. He doesn't have a phone. The police and FBI have him on wanted lists for stabbing people to death. He seems to think he is an artist so usually one stab wound is enough, to the throat or to the heart. He did kill a journalist who questioned his sexuality and morals in an article. The film of them tied up while Blade made cut after cut so they died the 'Death of a Thousand Cuts' is really quite sickening. He also stabbed a 10 year old in the stomach and watched them bleed to death which was caught on CCTV, and this is what got the police and FBI determined to get him. He is also a master at throwing a knife. Paradoxically he will not use guns or anything larger than a knife (like a sword) or anything else as a thrown weapon. He kills for money but also more disturbingly he'll knife people while trying to escape to ensure pursuers have to get the victim to hospital.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Cheyenne Autumn is the only name of a woman that the FBI has listed. Supposedly of Cheyenne descent she always seems to leave the reservations and head to where the Cheyenne used to spend their lives before the coming of the White Man. She refuses to talk to the White Man and remarkably her finger prints have changed, on one occasion twice whilst in custody. The police and the FBI had to keep her in prison after the deaths of several White Men who was alledged by members of the Sioux community had stated 'they were going to teach the Squaw a lesson she would not forget and prove how inadequate the Red Man was...' No evidence was found linking her to the deaths which seem animal related included trampling, throat torn out by teeth and claw marks causing massive blood loss. So eventually she had to be let go. She takes a dim view of violence towards other Indian women regardless of nation. Her own people say she is looking for a sign. Recently some say she saw it. Able to appear and disappear at will in the wilds and to track for miles Cheyenne Autumn is thought to be dangerous but how dangerous is not yet calculated.

Re: Create a Hero Theme Team! MEMO from Research to Marketing 'The Japanese Schoolgirl Hero, Mie Hama, is going to be in America for a while. Some sources say a couple of years. Obstensively the Japanese want this Icon to learn a bit more about the West by beng in the West. Her English is not very good and so we will need a translator. That being said she is a good martial artist and very kid friendly. She's only ever seen in the school uniform which is skirt to the knees and a blazer. There are no 'untoward shots' of her on the 'Net and the Japanese Govt have let the character feature on some products but these are all above board. Provided we keep Playboy away from her and stop anyone from going on about 'Keeping it real', we should get a lot of support from the Churches despite her nationality. The marketing potential here is awesome. Clothes, accessories, toys, comics, TV, the works. I feel we can make a deal with the Japanese govt and provide her with a couple of gadgets to give her a force field or just a bullet proof costume and then we have an Oriental role model and a way to break into the Japanese and Chinese markets. Market research says she is popular in Japan as there is no nationalist bent behind her. We have noticed that her name is the same as one of the Japanese actresses in 'You Only Live Twice'. Apparantly this is true as she is a direct blood relation and named after her great aunt.'

Re: Create a Hero Theme Team! Marie DuVoge is a pretty French woman who works for Interpol and has a caustic tongue which has meant that she is not going to get promoted. She is however good at her job, just a pain to work for and with. A wonderful cover for Vigilance Inc. Marie has access to all sorts of information and is a liaison for the FBI so gets to go to America. She is highly intelligent and extremely deadly. When one of the group broke the codes o conduct it was Marie who found him, killed him and disposed of the body. She does not do a lot of field work but she has access to all sorts of records and if she doesn't, knows who does. She does not care who is in charge, just that the job gets done. Her codename is Bulldog, just to throw off prying eyes. It has worked as well. New Team: The Exiles MegaCorp Inc has come up with the idea of forming a team out of a number of people who have not worked in a team before. They are all exiles from their country of origin or from other organisations. The merchandising opportunities and public profiling of the team can't miss ! Your mission should you choose to accept it is to put down potential recruits and why the company thinks they are good material and then under a spoiler why the idea has a Cat's chance in Hell of working. MegaCorp are thinking a team about 6 should be ok but they might need replacements at short notice. So minimum of 6, 9 should be ideal and say 11 max

Imprisoned by the Chinese allegedly since the 1950s, he should have been an old man but still appears relatively middle aged between 30 and 40. Anytime he is asked his name he replies 'Names are for Tombstones, baby'. His martial arts prowess extends to being able to dodge a firing squad using automatic weapons and his escapology skill is second to none. And yet it was not enough. Oh sure the cult that grew around him was beneficial but he got bored. Until The Masters showed up. Akira had mentioned the number 8 was lucky to the Chinese and that got the rest thinking, what could supplement our group ? A martial artist. Akira and Shiva had heard rumours of Dragon Hand but both Catharsis and Atomus confirmed he was real. Dragon Hand asked simply what they wanted. 'We're going to take over the world and we want you in the group' was the reply. And finally the light dawned, a worthy challenge. Dragon Hand accepted. He is sympathetic to Akira's desire to destroy the Yakuza and the Mafia. He is fascinated by Tome. He refers to Catharsis as Q and Canaan as Oddjob. He thinks that Shiva should have a cat preferably an all white one. He has a fascination with James Bond and has all the films but also all sorts of memorabilia. He also quotes from the films from all the characters. He appears Chinese, speaks English, French, Japanese and all the Chinese Languages. New Team: The People A team of American Indians from different tribes who get on well together and are taking it to the White Man. Minimum 6, Maxiumum 8 members

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Atomus, Master of Energy, scourge of mankind ! Destiny's chosen one ! Time and again he fought teams and individual heroes, was imprisoned, escaped and tried again. Time and again he fought at the sides of others only to be defeated. Time and again he set out to conquer the world. Until one hero managed to neutralise his power and shrink him. Imprisoned and basically powerless for 20 years, all but forgotten. Appeals based on his rights were ignored or rejected as he had set himself above everyone one else so what did he expect ? Shiva and Akira broke him out of prison and Catharsis managed to restore his power which was linked to his shrunken size. he agreed to joins the masters but does not know Mood Master manipulated his emotional state to calm him down and make him agreeable. He also found out various of his co-workers over the years betrayed him and mocked him behind his back. So he shares common ground with Shiva. Atomus is not that keen on Canaan but the others keep the two seperate.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! How did it come to this ? Looking down from the top of the Golden Gate Bridge and awaiting the nerve to cast off into oblivion. This is what the villains do to the heroes but not the other way around surely ? Once upon a time Dr Despair was a villain to fear and of the verge world toppling until the advent of the Bay City Brigade. The Brigade defeated Dr Despair continually and to the Dr's own despair they seemed to do it with ease and they seemed to take pleasure in humiliating the villain who only just got away by the skin of ther teeth. Each time it got worse until the Brigade's leader The Bay Boy unmasked Dr Despair and found it was a woman. And he laughed at her. Her face appeared on television and the papers. The only luck she had was that in court the charges did not stick because The Brigade did not have a warrant or they did not turn up to give evidence (Saving the World is more Important you know !) and they could not prove that the woman in the suit was the same person for each of Dr Despair's appearances. For ten years it became a fact of life. If you wanted to prove you were a hero, you had to beat Dr Despair first and that was kind of easy. Foiling a liquor store hold up was harder. Even when Dr Despair avoided doing anything The Brigade found her and The Bay Boy made her life a misery. The straw that broke the camal's back was when she tried to go straight and help people only for the Brigade to turn up beat her semi-conscious and for The Bay Boy to tell her she did not deserve to have a shot at redemption. And so Sandra Cartwright aka Dr Despair looked down at the cold inviting water. She had shown them all at first. Developing all sorts of gadgets that people said would never work and then setting out to prove it to the small minded fools by terorising them as a supervillain. But now her spirit was crushed and it was time to end it all. 'You know my dear, you really don't want to do that. Can you recommend a good restaurant in town, my colleagues and need to talk to you about a proposition'. It's not every day when you are contemplating suicide at the top of the Golden Gate bridge when three strangers, an Asian Indian, an Oriental crossbreed and a white guy appear floating in the air beside you. Shiva's charm got Sandra off the bridge. Sandra needed some persuading that the three strangers were serious about recruiting her after her run of bad luck, after all what could she offer them ? Simple. Technology. Shiva wanted a tech head and she was it. But Shiva stated that he believed that Sandra's bad luck against the Brigade was suspicious and so he had Akira look into it. And thus it was that Sandra found out she had been under a curse that meant she could not defeat the Brigade. A good guy wizard had cursed her because of her technology and she had never known it. So Shiva made Sandra a deal. If he and his colleagues could remove the curse and help her defeat the Brigade she would join the group. With nothing to lose Sandra accepted. After all during the meal several hero types had turned up and had been one punched or knocked out by the three strangers. Shiva paid a visit on the wizard and knocked him into the middle of next week. Using artifacts that he liberated from said wizard (who would have sensed and been prepared for Akira), Akira was able to break the curse. Then the Brigade came calling and found Sandra Cartwright had some new friends. The fight was short and surprising. The Brigade was utterly defeated and finally Sandra could get revenge. One member of the brigade is in a waking coma. His body is paralysed but his mind is active although he cannot communicate at all. Another was banished to another dimension. A third had their spirit swapped with a criminal who was in jail. Then the criminal went on a spree in the hero's body, was arrested and sent to jail. A fourth only appears during the three days of the Full Moon. A fifth believes that their powers are gone and wanders the earth powerless. The Bay Boy was turned into a toad and is kept in a tank in Sandra's quarters. Sandra is now known as Catharsis as the name Dr Despair is nothing short of a joke. She is the tech expert for the group. They gave her a shot at being the villain she once was and could be again. She gets on well with Shiva who is charm personified, Akira who shares a bullied history and Mood Master as she has given him gadgets to protect himself. Shiva has pointed out to Akira that relying on his magic alone could be their downfall. Similarly relying on Catharsis's technology solely. Mix the two and what you get will be the real triumph. That and a headache for the people trying to stop you. Sandra see this as a challenge and something she never considered possible. As she said to Akira, 'If we get this to work then there is nothing we cannot do'
