  1. Id keep all of them, but pair them off with a hero that they 'like' best and so there isnt a room full of them, but one on one conversations when need arises. Youd have to tailor them to your players and the character disads, for instance a seriously hot CIA liason is assigned to the playboy speedster while the geekish investigative Mulder type FBI guy associates with a quieter, shy member.
  2. Vanguard was all Secret IDs, and if it were easy it wouldnt be a Disad. I prefer Secret ID most of the time but have made a few Public IDs.
  3. Im not sure really what I want out of this book. I like magical villains alot though. I like the idea of them fighting on several levels at once. Street to Cosmic. Fighting other magical types and something about some of these enemies and their feud. Some energy and intrigue going on. The feel that they have a focus, alot of balls in the air and only one needs to land for something Bad is going to happen. Some they can lose and have a fallback plan, but there is always a plan. I want to feel fear of these guys and anger or purpose from them. Named Bosses at each tier, so at lower levels (where I play) its not just a bunch of identical figs on the table named #1, #2, #3 and so on.
  4. He chose the name DESTROYER. Maybe he was reading too many Batman comics, but I doubt it. He is amoral possibly, Evil I dont know. Does he feel remorse? We aren't given that kind of information because he's the Villain and Champions doesnt want to be an angst comic-verse. I think he could be played both ways but its really tough to get around his carelessness with human life.
  5. Found her! Mayday, the original GM built 250 (+10 free skills) sheet. 4th Ed. Concept: A mentalist brick, designed to take down other mentalists. (a buffed up PSI was the campaign's villain.) Her 300 pt sheet arsenal includes a variety of EGO BLASTS with varying special effects (AE, 0 END, AP), and she has Telepathy, Mind Scan, Invisibility and some Overall levels, plus more MDefense. 6. I have two posted online, 4th Ed. Feel free to convert. Just wish I had Mayday typed out. ShadowCross ( http://www.geocities.com/cyn_starwars/bio/shadowcross.htm ) is a Dark Champions style martial artist who uses a staff weapon that has anti-grav built into it and a spring loaded blade. Underwent chemical therapy and training to increase her stats to 20+. Mystery Disads were our House Rule, the GM had something he wanted to do and it was a surprise for later. 7. Posted this as a What If. http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13751
  8. The scheming would be alot of fun because the heroes dont want a villain to win, but in order for a hero to win you might feel it necessary to vote off a weak hero for now, and vote off the strong villain later. Do you dare make an alliance with a villain? On national tv?
  9. Remember the shots of them COVERED in bugbites and trying desperately not to scratch them? I remember several of them reporting when they got home, the large list of parasites they had to take medication for to get rid off. Colleen's legs in Season One, ugh! you could almost see them crawling under the skin.
  10. First thing I'd do is mix up the teams, girls vs boys or some 'random' selection thats sure to lead to arguements and conflict, and more fun at voting time. You'll need extra people to fill out the roster, Id suggest Foxbat, Oculon, that Mechanon chef from Sanctuary, maybe Doc Silverback, some LAW & ORDER control freak like the Golden Avenger, maybe a kleptomaniac too. Oh, and an older hero (or villain) to do the Rudy role. Don't forget to rearrange the teams halfway through! Id been considering a Survivor What If so had been thinking about challenges. Survivor uses puzzles and "How well do you remember the story I just said" as well as tests of balance and skill that none are necessarily best suited for. Relay races since none are speedsters. How well do you know your teammates? IE, whos shirt is this? Just how gross IS that food they're asking you to eat before the other team does? Challenges about endurance. Standing on a stump for 6 hours, or a floating log trying not to fall off. What if they have to hold up something bulky or heavy? Your ninja will not have it quite so easy then... Give them a challenge with 5 chickens. Set the chickens running and its up to the teams to catch them without killing them. Trust me, its not as easy as you think if you've never done it before. Most chickens wins. (Will have to enforce the no powers rule though) I remember a maze with everyone tied together and in the maze were sections of a thingie they had to assemble. But, I like the idea of bringing it into the real world more also. Burnett did a USA channel spinoff called Combat Missions where military and SWAT personnel on 4 teams went into missions with certain objectives and whoever did the best job at the end (most objectives met with most team members making it out) won that mission.
  11. Technically, Mayday could interrogate Menton, but I'd shoot him up with some happy drugs first and wear someone else's costume with mask. Since Mayday never rolls good when she really needs to (and he has that 26- Danger Sense), I'd bring a team. Maybe two. If she gets in the first blow though (her EGO is higher), he's going to be stunned then he's going to be toast. Her MDef will keep her safe from his Ego Attack (and then some, unless he rolls really well she won't take any damage at all) but the rest of his tricks (TK, RKA, Entangle, Flash) she has nowhere near enough defense against. All that power and 3D6 Luck, and he only has 5 pts Wealth?
  12. Its under Profile I think. The button next to Register. Been awhile since I uploaded mine. Some upload it off your hard drive, some require it to be uploaded to the Internet first.
  13. Does anyone else think Starlord's avatar (under his name, left column) would be perfect for Jamie, with a little alteration? http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13701
  14. Foxbat and Oculon. The latter because whenever my GMs use him they speak in a weasely whining tone. Dreadnought is fun too. If only because we call him Dread nought... nought... nought... because of the echo effect in the tin can suit.
  15. Added an Alternate Universe post over in General RP.
  16. Mayday hires the Captain a really good lawyer and volunteers to help. First the Captain's memories of events need to be tracked and verified. Was he where he remembers being? Second the physical evidence must be examined and verified independently that it is accurate. No offense to crime labs, but accidents can happen.
  17. Posted one in General Roleplay. http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=253988#post253988 Have an idea for another one but have to write it up. Maybe over weekend.
  18. Back in D&D days we rolled up stats down the line, no rearranging then picked a class. I ended up a warrior with 19-96 Str and 5 INT.
  19. Indicentally, I do not consider Ms Justice to be a bad character concept. So many of mine are run of the mill I enjoy something creative which is easy to find in this forum.
  20. I think its clear that Jamie's costume is in fact a body tattoo... There is no other way the bodice can stay in place in the heat of battle. I like the second picture much better, good angle AND flowing hair!
  21. As I recall her daddy is rich AND she has a team of lawyers on full time duty suing porn mags and video makers if they dont give her the appropriate appearance royalties.
  22. General Roleplaying has light traffic and these What Ifs do have a RP element to them do they not? If we cant have a place dedicated to Alternate Realities Gen RP could work if noone objects?
  23. Re: Hmmmm, let's see.... Benevolent Tyrant? I have a few like that too.
  24. Wake up your heroes and see if they can talk their way out of the situation. If one comes up with a good reason (once Paladin has gloated enough) use that and maybe give the character a bonus xp for using his brain. Alternately, have them bring along an old character sheet and play that character just arriving on the scene, thus distracting Black Paladin from simply killing them on the spot.
