  1. I have done my writeups much like how the Big Blue Book use to do things, as the total points being 'Based Points + Complication Points". This isn't how things are done currently. You can do any one of these things.

    1) Assume that each villain had enough experience to earn 75 experience points before they began.

    2) Reduce the points of each writeup by 75 points so they are "6 edition compilant".

    3) Feel free to rebuild the writeup in a way which works for you. Your probably going to do this anyway. I legally give you permission to do so.

You do know that the the 75 Matching Complications are for 400 Point Characters. (It’s a little confusing.) But if you WAN them to be 475 pts then by all means do so. Also my wife bought me the book awhile back as a surprise. I should get some use out of it.

I'm so use to how things were done during the Big Blue Book where the Complication points actually mattered that I kept that "starting points + complications" formula. Just assume that when everyone appears they have about 75 points of spent experience. Or feal free to bump powers down by 75 points. I mean once published on the site it is all yours to modify as you wish.

Huh.  I thought he'd used Tom Sawyer somewhere but it appears I'm wrong.  Pity, they have a lot songs with good Stand potential.  What would Analog Kid or Digital Man do, for ex?  A Farewell To Kings?  Superconductor?  Red Barchetta?  The Body Electric?  Seven Cities of Gold?

Remind me, I had a wrestling character whose gimmick was that he a big otaku. He once came across a piece of The Arrow and gained the stand [Nature Trail To Hell] (Imagine a stand version of The Undertaker as played by Andy Koffman, and that is what he basically looks like, but using there 80' Mania Wrestling names of the Undermaster and The Shmuck). He had a match against Arizona Chance, who developed a stand himself called [Red Barchette], a car shaped stand, and later we both sealed our stands away.

Inspired by @Stanley Teriaca, Heroes in a Hurry, I created a Stretching character named. Mr. Malleable. (Though I kept him at 300 pts.) I just ran a starting adventure where two Robbers try to rob the Andromeda Bar (map from 5th Ed Resource kit).

I'm glad to be an inspiration. My goal with the project is to keep the villains close to 475 as possible (400 base points + 75 Complication Points). I did have to go off book for a few things (it just wasn't right not to give Winterblade some form of tempture based life support, for example), but I did try to use as much of the book as possible.

Wow. Ask a simple build question, and get this? Thanks, folks. Man, since everyone knows what kind of campaign I'm running, I look forward to future comments before I even begin talking about them. I didn't realize using the system in different ways would invoke the Fun Police.

Nobody suspects the Fun Police. Nobody. Not even the workers of Club Dread. Or Broken Lizard.

Strike Force Update -- nearly 10,000 words were written and assembled over the weekend. ARL is at least 75% done, perhaps more.

As far as I know... there are almost no anime-inspired characters in Strike Force. The campaign started far before anime became popular in the US.

I know that. But the references to Rush songs...

For all of you RUSH fans out there, I just wanted to let you know that Aaron Allston's Strike Force Universe had a hero named By-Tor and another (a canine) named Snow Dog.

Ok. Now I'm expecting Stand Users.

I’m not sure how much Hideous has. I didn’t think he survived to get a 6th edition write up. Yeah I’d say 6 levels safely.

Well, technically he hasn't. But @tiger recreated him for the Forgotten Enemies line, where he was given the +10 Striking Appearance talent (Subclass, Ugly).

He was also recreated for the update of The Island of Doctor Destroyer, where he didn't have a lick of Striking Appearance at all. So...your milage may vary.

His Intimidation being 26- with Interrogation  is a bit excessive I think.

True, but he can basically only use it when someone sees his uncovered face and actually see all the ugly pock marks, and all the ozzing oil and puss coming out of his pores.

Still, it is up there, like Hideous. And his face shouldn't be as frightful as Hideous. Perhaps 6 or 7 levels of Straighting Appearance instead of ten?

  12. This one is not one of the five I'm looking for. Just enjoy this entery.

    The Overdose

The mysterious man who is now known as the Overdose was a male test subject (more likely a homeless person who he took from tbe street) who actually died of the drug tested upon him. But unlike others who died, the body still moves on, various drugs dripping from his skin which makes contact with this drug zombie dangerous. Hyde keeps him locked up in his own private cell, since he can't exactly control him at all. Only Professor Hyde knows about him, but everyone knows about the door nobody is allowed to open and the room nobody is allowed to enter.

  13. Professor Hyde's Test Subject Brigade.

Hyde keeps close tabs on the various super junkies his drugs have either directly or indirectly created.

Blackhead is his most loyal of his agents, and is probably the first to volentear to steal whatever Professor Hyde needs. And to try whatever he created.

Hyde is rather weary of Desperationado. He knows he is now immune to drugs and on that one hand, the chance to actually invent a drug which would even give Desperationado a high would be the ultimate challenge. But, he doesn't actually trust anyone he can't physically addict.

Rainbow Ray's gender change fasinates Professor Hyde. And hir disgust twords the Professor actually pleases him.

Professor Hyde is less interested in Blood Rush then the others. Instead, he is fascinated with Shadowmoon, the martial artist vigilante following Blood Rush. So he allows Rush to be bait to attack Shadowmoon into a trap to either kill or addict him.

The Overdose is nothing but a walking deathtrap who is dangerous to even Professor Hyde himself. Basically a zombie dripping with various touch activated drugs which require skin contact to use. The Professor hides him away to keep him from running away.
