  1. True. The worse would be a Physical Complication: Tight Laced (requires a STR roll to bend down if needed, a CON roll to avoid being winded if moving at a run), and is not needed or recommended for players to take. As for wearing a hobble dress/skirt, can't run when wearing one (at least the ones without leg slits), and can't kick unless making a DEX roll...but that is it. And I'm sure a woman of adventure will not be beyond taking a knife to her skirt if needed.
  2. An odd question...what is the effect of wearing a corset? Of wearing a hobble skirt?
  3. Champions doesn't do reality. This grabbing a cape is nothing special. Much like wearing a hobble skirt doesn't affect movement speed unless the game master makes it so.
  4. Ok. I like the idea of the apartment fire. 1) it encourages creative use of powers. 2) it encourages a non-violent solving of problems. 3) Chances for role-playing with each NPC saved. 4) If players do well, they have a great chance for positive PR.
  5. Thanks. I barely remember Space 1899, and pondered what a version for Hero would be like.
  6. The modern writeup for Thugmaster would probably have that. Mostly because that didn't exist till 4ed. Oops. Was thinking of Lighting Reflexes. I see this as a 50 point VVP, only to mimic skills and skill defined powers (examples: Invisability defined as Stealth, Flight defined as hyper climbing only when in contact with vertical surfaces, Healing which requires a first aid roll).
  7. At least 11 writeups before adding original characters. I honestly forgotten about Darkon. Nice to know you worked with Dennis to make it happen. If you actually need more characters to put in this, an ex-villain turned hero could work. You might actually ask Dennis about the 'rules' around the Ubermachine. Can people die instead of gaining powers? Exactly what powers can a person get when using it? What would happen if someone with powers uses the machine? And, any other questions I can't think of.
  8. Destroyer can easily be a behind the scenes villain. He would want to test the heroes as opposed to destroying them right now. That could be doable, with or without Destroyer being the end game mastermind. Telous can easily be the mastermind behind "What Rouge Beast" if we are not going with Destroyer. Humm...any other adventure can we string into this adventure? "Your Horoscope For Aquarous"? Anyways...we should ask for permission of the original writers of each adventure we are going to use. But we should have a backup list if we can't use them. A bank robbery... ...a stolen tech... ...a kidnapping... ...anything else... (Yadda yada yada)
  9. Humm...we obviously should start with a bank robbery. We end with a city destroying event which would require a few NPC heroes to do things which will free the our heroes to take care of the mastermind.
  10. Well, what about all the work @tiger put the work in?
  11. Of course you can. I wish someone would write it up and advertise it... Oh, yes, you did. [End scarcasim] (Sorry. No hate ment. Just found it odd you took the time to advertise.)
  12. Perhaps in a comic from Heroic Publshing (excuse my misspelling cause my phone wants to autocorrect into a misspelling and never accept it is wrong), and he might of been mentioned in 4ed Champions and before. Concidering stuff, it is possible his powers are mental in nature. He is no Professor X, nor Menton, but he is forematable enougth without using Mind Control...
  13. He is in the Flair comic books also, but he never had a writeup. The only "powers" I see him is telekinesis (to lift his cloak after spending some time with Flair), and...we can assume he has lots of intelagence to pick up and teach any skills a henchman would need.
  14. Sounds like a plan. It is not in there original writeup, but it would explain why they are still around. They probaly have a bad rap also about dying so easily. Probaly written as "Your Suppose To Be Dead!" You planing on doing a writeup on Thugmaster also? Thugmaster is a mastermind on miss owwn, but is also associated with the Professor.
  15. The concept for the Blonde Bombshell is that she can litterly explode without harming herself. Her build was before Persanal Immunity was a thing so it was a Blast or RKA linked to Desolification. In Flair she could Desolificate without exploding, but enjoys exploding. And...well...she is also beautiful. That is a side effect of the Ubermachine because she looked rather mousy before her transformation. I'm kinda interested in the writeup you did for the Professor. I noticed a slight Ras Au Ghoul when you did Kirby Koo, so what famous similar villain could you push into the character? The Leader? Considering how expendable they are, there must be either a way to bring them back from the dead, or they were given such powers to self revive or simply use the same settings on others.
  16. Does the Ubermachine actually have ww2 origins? Or is it all in the name which makes people think that?
  17. Humm...the Professor is a part of Flair and Heroic Publications/Graphics, so... Your probably going to have use your contracts to get more information about him, the Ubermachine, and all the villains and others created by it. And then there is Thugmaster and whatever his thugs are.
  18. Basically anyone created by Professor Pomagranet and his Ubermachine. The Glut Complex (the amazing expendable superteam from Adventures Club) Blonde Bombshell (Which I believe never got a writeup) Jabberock Spectra That is about 6 of them. Your going to need more Tiger.
  19. I'll add Cyber and Survival to the list.
  20. Do you know about the Gilt Complex (Goldbrick, Goldrush, etc...)?
  21. I have no preference considering I must focus on hoarding what money I do get from taxes and cashing out my 401k on paying owed rent and owed utilities and survival for apparently two years. If you send anything, send me a game book. Teen Hero? Don't confuse that with Teen Champions. It would be two different things (more Mod Squad, 21 Jump Street, and Digarsi High, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, less Teen Titans and Legion of Superheroes).
  22. If it is against Power Defense, then the power Power Defense would only be drained. Not power defense as part of the Force Field. Note, all three are added together as defense, except when common sense and thematic sense would say otherwise (for an the example, if the power armor is not worn, then only the natural PD would be counted...if he was surprised with his Force Field off only natural and armor would count...)
  23. So, tell me what Hero RPG would you like to see next. Mecka Hero: Giant robot roleplaying, both Real Robots and Super Robot areas. Kaiju Hero: A world of giant monsters. Fight against them. Fight as them. Horror Hero: Generic horror story role-playing. War Hero: Your in the army now boys. From the trenches of World War 2 to the elate anti-terroiist squad. Steam Hero: Might of been covered by Victorian Hero already, so if so ignore this. It is an age ruled by steam. Isaki Hero: Fantasy Hero supliment which helps the GM to play with Isaki rules. Victorian Space: Space in a science fantasy world and victorian settings. Cartoon Hero: Do we really need a GM, or a chaosproff babysitter? Teen Hero: Come back to your high school for the emotional soap opera we call high school. Plus guides to add a teen game to various other games ("teens from mars", etc...). Cyber Hero: Cyberpunk in the Hero System with the serial numbers filed off. Survivor Hero: Post appopulass role-playing. Zombie is merely a subgenre. Same as punks after a nuke strike. Pulp Hero: Two fisted storytelling I'm a world filled with gangsters. Or something else.
