Re: More space news!
Was there a problem in the math? I thought he just proposed a different configuration to generate the warping field that resulted in a reduction in the energy required from the mass energy of Jupiter down to the Voyager space probe. Where is the math error?
Re: More space news!
I was just reading about this. One of comments mentioned the TR-3B, which is interesting in a tin foil hat sense of the word. Might have to swipe for a campaign.
ETA: Oh, and I liked how much the energy needed changed with a little rethinking
"Significantly reduce" indeed...a change from the mass of Jupiter to less than a ton...
Re: Has anyone ever done the Tomorrow People in Hero rules?
I really enjoyed the '90s reboot of tomorrow people. I suspect this one (if it makes it to TV) will shift to more of a teen romance/drama than the other reboot.
I wonder if they could get Christopher Lee on this new reboot to play Ramses again...
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore
Between November 17 and 21, diners at Burger King in Japan will be able to partake in an all-you-can-eat extravaganza.
Oh, and today I learned that "viking" in japan means "all you can eat buffet". Seems appropriate...
Re: Quote of the Week From My Life.
Maybe not quite on topic, but a quote I saw today that I thought worth sharing:
-- Christopher Lee, speaking of his friend Peter Cushing.
Re: "Neat" Pictures
Good advice.
I'm afraid our lab/chow mix will be going on a difficult journey soon, he's getting a little creaky. I can only hope, with care and love, he'll still have a few good years left, though.
Re: "Neat" Pictures
Is there a figure in the eye of that storm? I'll have to keep this around for "news footage" for a Ran-level exhibition of powers.
