I think he is saying this is a Dial H/Ben Ten type ability where the hero changes form into a superbeing by activating an alien watch. So a multiform with the multiform having different abilities based on a focus with a time limit, independent,  maybe charges,  maybe persistent, and either OAF or OIF.

I have one pick left I think. I need a geographic location of importance.

regular oceans have currents that are caused by wind, the pull of the moon, and so forth.

Roy has created a network of super currents for his followers and any surface dweller who might find them. These supercurrents act as a network of transportation to push anything almost instantly to the end of the line.

Essentially they are Stargate networks in the water that can be used by anybody who can dip into them.

A man/cat knelt at the foot of the black pyramid, shuddering but no longer weeping openly. The ritual he had obtained had opened a rift to this hidden place; at least that had gone right. Now he just had to solve the cypher on the door . . .
And it was done. The massive stone slab slid open with a silence that should not be possible for such a heavy thing, and the man released one more tear, wiped it, and the two proceeded inside.

Within was a labyrinth, lit only by glowing fungi on the walls. "We're here" the two said as one. The shadows flickered and surged; this place did not approve of calling out loud. The two were undeterred. "Please. We've come so far. We thought the labyrinth was some sort of trap? But we want to be found. Are you here?"

"I am." The two turned and fell to the ground. The spider filled the corridor. It was wrapped in its own silk, and when it moved its joints made a sound like dried meat being bent. This thing had not been truly alive since the stones were young.

It arched its long, thin abdomen to dangle its tail in front of its face, a tail which ended in a feminine figure also wrapped in silk. It writhed and screamed "oh save me hero!"

the cat cast his head to the side and mindspoke, "That might have worked better when you were alive. The movements aren't right. The voice is raspy and dead. It matches the rest of you. That's some kind of lure, a piece of you. Why do you even use it when we're here for you?"

The writhing stopped and the woman shape sighed. "Habit, I suppose. And I prefer to use its speech for these occasions; I'm told my mindspeech is deafening and my real mouth can't exactly speak.  You are here for my services?" The two nodded. "Pity. Adventurers are more fun. Ah well. What is it you want me to keep secret?  A magical manuscript that must never fall into the wrong hands? A memory-bearing weapon you fear will inspire revolution?" She rolled her eyes. "Not a treasure you want me to reveal to someone at a later date? I hate those ones."

At this the tears cam back in force, and the two could only mindspeek. "No. Us. We must make ourselves a secret. Please. Hide our shame."

A moment of stillness. Then the woman-shape nodded. "Your name will disappear. Memories that touch you will be changed. All evidence gone." a tilt of the head-shape. "You know the price?"

The cat leapt into the mans arms. "We welcome it."

And so they were eaten, and they knew their shame was hidden forever.

    Monster: Arachna-Ra, the Mummified Spider

An unparalleled Psi-master, Arachna-Ra can wipe memories throughout the infinite world. She can scour evidence of any kind. Sometimes she is brought things to keep secret, making her hidden home a prize for foolish adventurers. Sometimes, she makes people her secret, perhaps to hide their shame at failure or transgression. In either case, she demands sentient sacrifice.

She is a mummified spider. Her tail ends in a sort of lure that looks like a bound woman, her wrists ending where the rest of the tail begins. The lure used to be very effective, but mummified it isn't so much. Again, Arachna-Ra is a sufficiently advanced master of Psi, Magic, and Illusion that it really doesn't matter. Think twice before crawling her dungeon.

Okay I had an idea for interference.

Occasionally Roy gets a little angry at someone on the land. That person thinks I am away from the water, none of the personal messengers can get at me. I am perfectly safe.

That is the wrong approach to things.

If Roy can't get at you through the water, he will bring the water to you with a hurricane the size of a continent called Roy's Hand.  People who see the storm terns deep in the middle of their lands they know to batten the hatches and do what they can to keep their belongings from ripping up and away to land some place miles away.

Roy may pay compensation if another god's temple is ripped up and placed somewhere else along the way.

I am two picks behind. I am going to choose the Armorsons as my chosen people.  They are amphibious ,  superstrong, master of the water and native wildlife, and general protectors of their reaches from the surface. Essentially Percy Jackson and Aquaman combined with deep ones.

I am going to give my gift to civilization as the Dark Fleet of Coranon. Sailors have problems, people drowning on the shore, a whale attack wrecks a village. You can opt to join the Dark Fleet until you have fulfilled your time of service and are released.  The time of service usually means when the last person you know has forgotten you.

I am going to create the storm tern as my fauna. These water loving birds are known to appear before storms and heavy seas to fish. They presage bad weather.

My mythic monster and servant is the Water Kraken.  This beast, formed of water, is known to serve as Roy's messenger, proxy, and executioner. It is as big as it needs to be and the constraints of the source of the water involved.

A tiny creek is a tiny cute thing, an ocean is a titanic beast of war with as many tentacles as it needs.

Roy can create as many of these as he needs, but only usually needs one to get his message across.

Stop worrying about interference; it's a draft.  Sailing and navigation don't really impinge on my concept anyway.  Arguably navigation is the opposite.
