quozaxx
I'm not sure if this discussion belongs here. But, I would like to talk about pirates. Most specifically the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise I've been watching the movie marathon and thought it might be a fun game to play. But I need pirate names, ship names, stats for 6e, and even write ups from the franchise. Any help is appreciated. Thanksm

Lord Liaden
I'm afraid they're for 5E, but Michael Surbrook's website, the magnificent Surbrook's Stuff, has a few write-ups of characters who may work as templates for what you want. Captain Jack Sparrow Captain William Bligh Captain John Sinclair, Royal Navy tkdguy
quozaxx
That was awesome. I would love to see Davy Jones written up. And the pirate name (and ship name) generator was perfect as well. Quick question from a land lubber. Which side is the port and which is the bow of a ship?
Lord Liaden
Port is left, starboard right. Bow and stern are front and back, respectively.

Doc Shadow
Sinclair was not a pirate. His grandfather, Sir Thomas Sinclair was. For one voyage, after which he obtained his licence as a privateer. Had to pay a rather hefty ... fine, shall we say ... to have the date on that letter of marque be retroactive to prior to his previous voyage. Lord Liaden
Just trying to throw out general period nautical templates, Doc.
C-Note
I.C.E. had a Pirates supplement for Rolemaster and 4th Ed. Fantasy Hero that may be useful. Conversions to 6E should be pretty easy. https://www.amazon.com/Pirates-Campaign-Classics-Rolemaster-Stock/dp/1558060855 Lord Liaden
