steriaca
I have a few ideas for villains and I want to list them and get some feedback from them. Piper : A criminal using a magial bag pipe. The main thing I want in the build is to create sound effects without doing Mind Control (which is the go to power for a man with a magical or scientific musical instrument). Well, I'm using a bag pipe for him because, well, why not. Red Devil : Based on the villain in the Champions RPG Dos Game which never happened, he is a carnival fire breather gone bad. Part gypsy, he has learned some arcane secrets about fire. Note: he is not a magic based villain. His "arcane secrets" are not magic, he is not a mutant, he just learned various fire breathing tricks that the general public doesn't know. Warlock : A minor mystical villain who has a few tricks up his sleeves. His main thing is his Blast with Variable Special Effects and Variable Advantages, among other spells. The idea is to make a versatile mystical villain without using a Variable Power Pool. I'll list more later. fdw3773 and Barton
fdw3773
You have some interesting villain ideas. Here's my feedback for your consideration: Piper: The idea of bagpipes instead of the wooden pipe from the Pied Piper of Hamelin or a flute used by DC's villain of the same moniker is interesting. Granted, I'm a little biased because of love the bagpipe music used in the soundtrack for the 1995 film Braveheart. A challenge may be in terms of describing the special effects since the pipes where the sound comes out are oriented to the rear of the user and not the front like the traditional pipe instrument, so it may be producing some type of aura (e.g. force field) or a generated shock wave of some kind from the entire body when the instrument is used. Red Devil: The concept/origin story is unique, but the name doesn't seem to fit. An idea for your consideration is, "Maestrul Flăcării," which loosely translates to "Flame Master" in Romani, a language used by Gypsies. Or, maybe "Sfiato Fiamma," that loosely translates to "Flame Breather" in Italian. It could be a stage name that he used in the circus to become his villain name. Warlock: It's a good overall concept and the name fits.
steriaca
Thanks for the feedback. Piper : The bagpipes is one option. It is possible that the pipes allows him to control the wind of some kind. I see the effects as air wrapping around his body then coming out from the left side of his torso. I wouldn't worry about it much, as it follows the laws of comic book science. Red Devil : His name came from the Champions DOS Demo (he was the guy who tossed a fireball at Mario). The origin was something which came to mind when I seen the demo at GenCon. Winterblade : A man who wields a sword which creates ice. Basically the idea is to do a version of DC Comics' ice gun users (Captain Cold, Mister Freeze, etc). Bouncer : A brick whose body is composed of organic rubber. Opal
I like the Piper being nothing like the Hamlin one. Maybe you could give him "solid sound" powers - forcewall, TK, energy blasts, 'white noise' that suppresses other sonic powers... Or, the Pipes could have no powers, at all, in fact he's really bad at playing them - but when someone comments on that fact, he Hulks Out. You expect a mind controller, you get a Berserker brick. steriaca
Diamond Jack : An acrobatic thief specialising in stealing gems. He appears to have a gem instead of a right eye and can create diamond shaped force objects. Black Skull : A Project Starburst victim whose radioactive corpse buried deep in the Arizona desert, and became a zombie-like undead when Tacofanes passed by his resting place. He has just now dug himself out and is rampaging against every living thing he comes across. He is super strong, can absorb radiation and can shoot a strong radiation beam once he absorbs enough radiation. He is a rampager for those tired of using Grond all the time. Loosely based on the Spaceman's Ghost from Scooby-Doo, design wise. The Weapon : Man whose right arm is mysterious replaced with a cyber tech replacement who is able to transform into various weapons. One Armed Bandit : A gambler who became a mercenary after loosing his right arm in a bet, and then winning a armored suit in another bet. The suit roughly resembles a slot machine with the three reals. That's nine right there. Opal
steriaca
Mind Trap : An "anti-mentalist", he can shut down almost all mental powers (Drain, based on MCV) by entering his opponent's mind. He also can create a "mental trap" which affects anyone trying to connect there mind with his (Mental Damage Shield based on DCV Drain). He was an person given the Psi-Serium and was thought PSI Negative and was let go after a quick mind wash.

steriaca
I'm probably preaching to a audience of one, but I hope to create an Enimies book of some kind. Except I don't have any artwork nor money to commission artwork. Does anyone create art for Amino Coins in Hero Fandom?
death tribble
You can try Deviant Art as there are several artists there who do good work. I know as they have done work for me. Storn did good work for me as well. But they all cost. Paypal is your friend.
