Actually no, but I do imagine them doing Inexces' "I Need You Tonight". Rich McGee and Christopher R Taylor

Although a re-watch of some Tom Baker or Patrick Troughton or Jon Pertwee or whoever your personal ideal Doctor is might remind you of why you once thought of him more regularly. There's something to be said for a bit of nostalgic low-budget scifi. Gauntlet
DShomshak
Just a note that I am still working on this as time and energy permit. I recently finished the revised version of Razor Girl. I'm working on a magical martial artist lackey for Shadowfire and his cult, which is now an independent group with no connection to the Devil's Advocates. (Though I mention he could join them.) His daughter Nightstar already has a full writeup. "Darkhand" was the top cult enforcer before Albert Nomus usurped leadership. He serves the new master while assessing how Shadowfire uses the cult and his new power. He does not yet tell everything he knows, such as how to find the Black Bodhisattva -- leader of the Black School overall, of which the cult of the Greater Dark was just a local branch. DShomshak
Update on my other project, The Sylvestri Family Reunion. HERO Patreon backers had their chance for a few months to comment on the manuscript, but Jason says they pretty much didn't. I choose to interpret that as the book being so good that no one thought of anything to add or change. Our colleague Lord Liaden also gave it a test read and offered suggestions, but please don't pester him for spoilers. He's sworn to secrecy by dreadful oaths. ("Don't talk about it, okay?" "Sure, whatever.") The manuscript and illustrations have gone to Jason, who will see to it that it will be assembled using actual pagemaking software, not just a simple pdf conversion. He also promises cover art. I'm thinking maybe just the Sylvestri achievement of arms, but there may be time for people to offer suggestions. There will be a disclaimer for people who have difficulty telling reality from fantasy: Quote This is a work of fiction. DShomshak
A little update, if anyone's interested. One result of working on this project is I'm taking a new look at characters I haven't thought about in decades. When our gaming group needs a fill-in adventure, sometimes I get a chance to use the rewritten characters and gain new insights. That's how I recently used the Great Beast in an adventure. Which in turn led to me writing up and mapping out a Base for him, and considering some practical details I had formerly neglected. His revised write-up now includes a sidebar on those practical details, such as: Where do you keep a private zoo of monsters without people noticing? How do you feed them? (So much kibble.) GMs have a bit more guidance on how detective PCs can use their Skills to locate the Great Beast's lair. Lady Twilight won't be the only vampire with a write-up. She's presented as an example of a master vampire. Her "progeny" Charles Torres is presented as a free vampire. The undead so cial justice warrior Shirlee is a sample thrall-grade vampire. Her background is changed for this: LNow, Lady Twilight turned her into a vampire and gave her false memories, to use her as a catspaw. I got to use both Charles and S?hirlee in the last Champions fill-in I ran. I hope to get a chance to use the rewritten Shadowfire. He's no longer part of the Devil's Advocates (though the "Associates" section mentions he could join if GMs so desire). But he has a small organization now: his daughter Nightstar and a mystical martial artist cult enforcer, Darkhand. The "quantum level" mechanic from his 4e write-up was always difficult to manage. It still isn't as simple as I'd like. His "Life Leech" field is now written up as an Area Effect Suppress. He gets extra REC and END based on how many cultists are within it. Multiform represents the various power levels he can achieve from drawing on the tainted life force of the cultists. As a second-tier mastermind, Shadowfire also needs to be a bit less brittle and a bit more flexible in what he can do. So his "Ascensions" add Power Pools. First he just gets a tiny VPP with which to create minor defensive Powers that prevent him from being one-punched. Like, he can have a small triggered Teleport to escape Grabs and Entangles, or one form of Life Support to counter the NND attack that otherwise makes him a sitting duck. (Special Powers explicitly allowed -- but Shadowfire still can produce only one Power at a time.) At his maximum power, Shadowfire also gets a larger VPP for feats of big ritual magic such as opening a Gate to a Dark Dimension, or magically tainting everyone in a town with black lotus drug. Work continues. Dean Shomshak Lord Liaden and Christopher R Taylor
Lord Liaden
It sounds like very worthwhile work. It's always a delightful bonus when something one writes for others, or as a creative exercise, brings extra benefits for oneself. Looking forward to this. It's a definite buy from me, even if you price it what it's actually worth.
