PhantomGM2602 Posted February 25, 2003 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2003 Ultimate CHS house Rules I guess I forgot to put down some of the rules and the background for my campaign so here goes: In CHS your PC is either a hero in training who's learning how tro handle his powers while dealing with the baggage that comes with being a teen[or Preteen], or a graduate hero testing the waters of heroism for the first time in the campaign city,while dealing with the hassles of firstime adult life[college,marrage,etc.]. The campiagn is of the TEENHERO genre,but has elements of drama,romance and comedy in it. All starting PCs have the option of starting as a trainee or a grad hero[or villian,] and must start their char points at the legendary ratings and work up to superhuman. Thus the point totals as freshmen must start at 150-199pts. Preteen heroes must start with lower point totals set at the "skilled " range Use the Quick Superhuman generator in the Champions book and the templates from FRED to create your teen heroes,keep also in mind that teen heroes can have uncontrolled powers or you can vary your hero's powers acording to his rank shown below: Preteen:79-96pts Freshman:110-150pts Sophmore:150-199pts Junior:199-279pts Senior:299-499pts Graduate:499-500+pts Superhero:500+pts All teen heroes must also form student teams in order to work together and spend points on equipment and headquarters that will be provided by the GM[That's me]. That means that you'll have some comedy along with drama[will Dreamstar ever grow up mentally and find her prince or will she deal with some frogs? AsIF!} and a lot of adventure and action[Can the kids outrace the ragining storm that is tearing the island apart? Prince Saga the Tommorrow Teen Illigitimate son of the 2nd SAGA the Tommorrow Man,Ian Creighton was experimented on by the CIA in a effort to gain a controllable version of thier All American hero. But the experiment went wrong and he gained stroner powers than his father,prompting him to run away and meet up with SAGA. after an altercation he was assigned to the US gov Task force when he was recruited for CHS,much to the consternation of the CIA. He posesses superspeed,invulnerability,vision powers[X-ray,Telescopic,Microscopic,Heat,laser],superstrength,flight, and more as he grow older. because he was trained by the CIA and PRIMUS,he has been placed in the junior rank,making him the oldest of the student heroes. [superBoy, Kid Supreme] POWER PRINCESS : the fifth successor to the amazon legacy,she was a street orphan who was chosen above all others to be the successor to the latest POWERQUEEN. posessing super strength, invulnerability and speed, she's training to be the best that she can be.[WonderGirl/Troia] ROKK & ROLL ;brother and sister, the children of Sprint and Touchdown[former members of Team alpha] Rokk's the ultimate Immovable object,smashing through obsticles like a freight train on steroids,he can also grow to 50ft tall enough to dwarf a small building or a skycraper.[Giant Man/Juggernaut] Roll's the Irresistable force,moving at speeds up to mach8 and more depending on the situation,moving up and down buildings,causing sonic booms with a snap of her fingers and vibrate through walls with a speed bordering on the legendary.[Flash/Quicksilver] Liona,the SHE CAT once a nerdy student who studies felines, Liona Henderson litterally became one when she helped out some alien felenoids repair their ship and save one of their crew. in gratitude they genetically remade her into a literal catwoman with feline senses,lionine strength,acrobatic abilities and a feral berserker rage making her a deadly fighting machine. Damon had made his way towards Med City where he saved a little girls life,and she gave him a serum as a gift. This potion transformed him from a true Vampire into a dhampere,a vampire Human hybrid,existing in the daylight as well as the night. Neon, The Living Laser: after being kidnapped by ATLAS[or the IHA,your choice], Mike Davison was subjected to the radiation of a extradimensional power source called the Q'rrymm Effect giving him super powers like the ability to absorb energy,fire energy blasts and transform into many energy forms. as the leader of Team Alpha he's the glue that keeps the team together. Visionary: an Alien princess from the faraway Empire Galax, she was sent to the moon to observe the curious phenomenon that is the super being on earth. Found by the Living Laser during a routine space mission with Victory, they fell in love and throughout many missions [during which she joined CHS] they were married on planet and off in the early 80s,staying on after graduation as the facilty of CHS in MED City. TouchDown[brick/metamorph]: Former football tackle Harley Mason was kidnapped the same way as Mike and four other kids,but in his case he grew about twenty feet tall and became denser as a block of titanium alloy. that ability plus his football skills enable him to blast through a platoon of ATLAS soldiers,thus saving his buddies. He later regestered in the CHS program as TOUCHDOWN, working with NEON,SPRINT and TURNABOUT, until the early 70's when they all graduated as heroes. There are many villian teams as well as hero teams in the many schools here are a few: BAD ATTITUDE: A street gang of losers who were recruited by VIPER and given super powers to become thier answer to Team Alpha but had broken away to try to dominate CHS, becoming the HOT SHOTS' thorn in the side. TEEN CHAMPIONS : The Millennium City version of Team Alpha this team numbered among their roster,Mighty Girl,Sonique,Luminator,Solitaire,Quantum and Seeker. Darkstalker is a reserve member and helps out whenever he can. MAINIAX: a collection of crazies from Telieos's geno vault who escaped with Dreamstar's help inhabit the school's basement and city sewer system. They flucuate between hero and villian,making for a interesting delimma for the PCs. THE VIOLATORS: Another Teen Villian group created this time By the Circle of the Scarlet Moon oin an effort to capture Dreamstar,Enchantara, Witchcraft,and Solitaire. This team uses dark magic which sometimes go way out of control,prompting the mystic members of CHS to pull thier collective fat out of the fire. And I've already tried it for a FTF rpg and nobody's biting on the old board.But if you want to, just turn to the main forum index and sc roll down untill you find "player Finder." PhantomGM2602 Posted June 23, 2003 Author Report Share Posted June 23, 2003 PLOT seeds for CHS Plot Seeds for CHS Second Genesis: the pcs are gathered to Millennium City's CHS facility for the first time from allover the state for a simple mission: The Guardians are mission during a routine paranormal search. After some training mishaps and some rushed team training they finally came to the island where the originals were missing,after encoutering some hostile wildlife and animated nature the team has freed the originals from an ancient city only to find out that the whole island IS the paranormal------ and it's hungry! Can the PCs fight their way out? New Kids On Campus Some of the PCs' classmates have found an ancient machine in an abandoned building in the city's ghetto. When one of them turns it on accidentally it instantly charges them with superpowered energies and clothes them in costumes of some of the golden age heroes of Med City.
