With the number of times it gets brought up in threads as a posible solution, a link to one of the threads discussing decoupling Control and Pool costs in VPP's should probably be on the list as well.

 

I'd post a link, but my search-fu is currently feeling weak, and I'm about to go play a videogame :whistle:

I read through the thread and it was very interesting, but I couldn't find a new power or new advantage that the thread centralized on. Also, there didn't seem to be any consensus as to what mechanic should be used, although there were many different suggestions given.

 

I'm not sure adding it to the list would actually be giving a poster an specific alternative to evaluate.

 

If you have a specific contruct in mind that was to be proposed as workable alternative, perhaps you could summarize it and post it at the end of the thread. Then I could add it to the list with that specific post as the link.

Well, since you haven't given me enough key words to narrow down a search, I won't attempt to locate it. If you get time and can find, I will certainly look it over and add it to the list if it is appropriate.

Although I appreciate the sentiment, I seriously doubt that this thread would be granted a sticky. There would have to be many, many people emailing Ben Seeman and Darren Watts of the need. If something like this were to be fully utilized, there should be sections as follows:

 

  • Skills
  • Perks
  • Talents
  • Powers
  • Advantages
  • Limitations
  • Frameworks
  • Character Disadvantages
  • Combat Rules
  • Genre Rules

I've repped all but one, who I had repped too recently, so that all of you can easily find this thread by going to your User CP page. It's kind of a poor man's Sticky technique.
