Elfs have pointed ears, chiseled features, roughly man sized but thinner bodies, they can not grow facial hair, but 1/2 elves may. Most elves stand a couple of inches shorter than men.

Elven society is a society where the arts flourish & magic is common. Elven Villages & Towns are similar in some manners to human’s, but with more elegance and hygiene to them.

The Capital City of the elves is rife with political intrigue: plots, scandals, secret deals, and different nobles trying to get ahead. This has even worked its way into the military, where the royal guard, and the swords of Baelavel are constantly on each other. Duels in the street are not uncommon It is said that the elves created the game of throwns, a statement that is probably quite true.

Elves have a well earned reputation for being a bit high on themselves, this has hurt there relation with most races. Dwarves especially do not get along well with them, while humans value what they can teach them. Halflings are the only race that seems to get along with them well. Races with Orc blood (Ogres, Goblins, etc) love the taste of there flesh.

Re: [Campeign Building] Elves

just a fast human making a "race" is very hard, trying to get the Alien in the Alien. the elves in lord of the rings were Angelic in nature. this is the tough thing.

Lord Ghee

Late will work on this though later in the weekend have to do charater for a fan hero game i am in and intro two new players!

No problems here.

Do you use cross-cultural penalties for seduction and the like? If so, this isn't necessary.

Looks fine. Here are some other Elf Packages for inspiration / comparison:

and you might find this useful for getting your elf package into Hero Designer:

Re: [Campeign Building] Elves

I'd say it depends on exactly what that bonus is supposed to be for. If Elves are better looking because they're more graceful, have clearer skin, and more symmetrical features (on average) than humans do, then it would make sense for them to have a racial COM bonus.

If Elves are supposedly more attractive because they're small, pale, slender, and "willowy", then that might get interpreted differently by different races or even ethnic groups. Dwarves might find them a bit too scrawny, and Orcs might laugh at the very idea that anyone could be attracted to "those pasty-skinned stick people."

Besides, everyone knows that Dark Elves are the hot ones.

Re: [Campeign Building] Elves

Well, look up Pirotess. That's a Dark Elf from Lodoss.

In any case, one of my favorite forms of Dark Elves come from Legends of the Shining Jewel--they're a nomadic desert people, with shadings similar to dharow from the regular books. (They don't exist in the campaigns, though. But they do have nice traits.)
