Background/History: A talented dancer who studied Capoeira as part of her training, Rebecca Reed encoountered a strange, but dashing older man who offered to make her his pupil. He was a fantastic dancer and she accepted. She had no idea what she was getting into.

Master Edward had once been a costumed crime fighter; an expert in Capoeira and peerless athlete, he had protected the streets of Miami in the 80's as high flying Knight Wulf. (though to be honest, most thought he was the Night Wolf...which was also a nice name but not what Edward had had in mind). Seeing something in Rebecca, he pushed her to her limits, and she found that she had superhuman levels of agility and flexibility. Honing her talents until she felt ready to try this combat stuff for real; then designing a rather scandalous "superhero costume" Rebecca made her first appearance as the Red Dancer.

 

Personality/Motivation: Red Dancer is something of an adrenaline junkie. Being a crime fighter is all about excitement at this stage in her career. She has a swashbuckling, limelight loving, let's do it this way because it's difficult kind of personality. Beneath the fun loving adventurer, however is a woman of great compassion and responsibility. Red Dancer disdains those who abuse others and has trouble keeping cool when she encounters bullying or torment.

Campaign Use: Still early in her career, Red Dancer has some skulking skills but really is combat heavy at the moment. Perhaps some more detective skills or gadgets to help out with crime fighting would be in order. If she ends up on a team she would definitely find use for the teamwork skill.

 

Appearance: Above average height. Strong but feminine build. Long red hair and blue eyes. In her normal identity Rebecca wears jeans and comfortable shirts or sweaters depending on the weather. She ties her hair back and wears glasses .

 

As Red Dancer, she lets her hair down and dons a red costume that is translucent in all the right places to cause distraction without technically breaking any indecency laws. Her costume is akin to a belly dancer or harem dancer style dress.

You can imagine the cheesy pickup line. "Hey baby, I see that you enjoy intense physical activity. I too, enjoy intense physical activity! We should totally hang out."

 

Shouldn't the armor be activating on an 8 or less? For that matter, shouldn't it impose a COM penalty if she's just eaten a heavy meal?

Actually, I would suggest going the other direction and dump the Activation roll all together. Just because it looks like she is wearing next to nothing doesn't mean that she needs to be silly enough to actually wear next to nothing. :thumbup:

 

Wonder Materials can be sheer or can blend in with her skin color. :D

 

Besides, dumping the activation roll will speed up play.
