Susano
Perfect for those pulp-era rockets and raygun adventures! You’re looking at Japanese artist Chu Enoki’s artwork called RPM-1200, a diorama built from junk metal, old drill bits and spare machine parts polished into gleaming, shiny spires of a futuristic city. The sculpture is actually pretty big, it measured 11 feet tall (3.4 m) and 15 feet (4.6 m) in diameter. As shown below, the details are absolutely fantastic! Lawnmower Boy
Re: Pulp-Era Futuristic Space City That's my place, fifth spire on the left. 382nd floor, apartment 22b Well, technically, anyway. The elevator's been out of service since before Christmas, so I'm living in the stairwell, instead.
Flames
Re: Pulp-Era Futuristic Space City I'm going to Walt Disney World next month, and the one thing I always look forward to is the retro-futurist Tomorrowland. Of course, when the park was built it wasn't retro yet. And it's not as retro as something from the 1930s, of course.

In the future sequence, there was a quick shot of that classic cityscape with the sign Todayland.

JakSpade
Re: Pulp-Era Futuristic Space City You can find some good city pics from http://www.cgsociety.org, and look under the galleries... Also, if you can snag some of the pictures of Krypton from Superman TAS, or Legion of Superheroes, those would work good too. What about pictures of Atlantis from Stargate: Atlantis? jak
