(6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

I always had that feeling. I've always been one to go by observation of ability and what a character says.

I had a halfling "scout". He was a scout because that was what he told people. Had another player try using the thieve's cant in a tavern full of people, to converse. The Guild frowns upon stupidity...

The girl I was dating at the time objected to me claiming to be a scout, because "it says 'Thief' right on your character sheet!"

In our group we call that an "Urban Reconnanise Specialist"

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

Both my events were approved. Thus I need several more PCs, both for the super game and for a non-super game (for which I'm still trying to decide the genre).

I;'m open to all of these, and to advice. I also need to find an export format for 6e that will get the sort of sheets I'm looking for.

started on the archer earlier tonight. I am also working on a speedster for one of my players and I am having a bit of trouble with it (He wants an interesting, fairly balanced, and annoyingly complex to put on the sheet power)

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

Regarding character sheets, there is one I like, called convention game or something, it is in the vault, and basicaly very clean, no extra numbers, welll layed out except for a couple of minor details. It is 4 pages long, but very well organised (Page 1 is characteristics/skills, page 2 is powers, page 3 is combat, and 4 is background)

Take a look, see what you think of it...

Is it 6e ready? That's my main concern.

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

Here is the Batman Knock off.

The Fox is the great great great grandson of a masked hero from the mid 1800's (Adjust number of greats). His family has often donned mask to help the less fortunate. He is driven to be a hero by both family tradition of service to the community and his own innate heroism.

This character is actualy from my coming Urban Champions campeign where he has been active for a number of years and now retired due to injury, this is a younger version just starting out. Some things may need to be tweeked because of that.

I am also starting a thread about this character elsewhere in champions if anyone wants to comment

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

Thanks. I grabbed the character sheet for the Fox, and we'll see if people want to play him. I'm still looking for more characters, as many as I can reasonably get because I want to give my players a wide variety of interesting types to choose from.

I also found the Enforcer DC/Marvel thread. Does anyone know whether those are 5e characters or 6e?

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

Sorry I am running late...

I will have

Paragon: Flying Brick

Marksman: trickarcher

&

The Fox: Skill monger Urban Champions

ready by 21 Sep09 for you

 Wow! I have just finished a few weeks ago my character for an upcoming campaign. It is a youngish Superman knock-off called Paragon but dubbed Kid Paragon by the press. He is a Flying Blasting Brick. My alternate character was a Batman knock-off (character sheet yet unfinished). The name is still in the air but The Fox was one of the runner up!

great minds and all of that' date=' hey why don't you post up what you have and see if the OP can use him? If nothing else, depending on how similar Kid Paragon could be related to my Paragon...I like that kind of stuff[/quote']

Hmmm I guess I could... except that his background his written in french so maybe only the sheet could be enough?

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

Based on one of my Project 275 point characters, here is Paragon

Origin (thanks to another poster

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The world needs its heroes, its shinning examples. Are you one? that was the question that changed my life. I was struggling through a 14th century copy of Homers the Iliad, I didn't even know our library had such a text, when I found that question written in gold ink at the bottom of the page. I was stunned how could anyone deface such a priceless text, but the question drew my mind. I could not deny they world needed positive examples...NO I thought it need more than mere examples it needed a Paragon.

I was enveloped in a golden light when my vision cleared I was transformed. I found had strength beyond mortals, I crushed a solid oak desk just trying to stand. the splintered wood didn't even dimple my skin. I was faster, stronger, tougher, I was like a hero of old, reborn into the modern world. At that point I knew my name Paragon, It was clear my duty was to inspire a world so hungry for hope.

Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted!

If I come up with any more ideas I will post them for you' date=' when is your con game?[/quote']

October 3rd and 4th is when the convention runs. The Fantasy game is on the 3rd, the supers game on the 4th, but I won't have access to my Internet or computer/printer during the con. So if everything can come in by the 2nd it would be very nice.
