Christopher R Taylor
Well, first off you have to hate comic books, superheroes, and heroism in general. Then you have to be a bitter, angry Brit. Quackhell
Hotspur
Hmm. If it is 4th edition, then you want to allocate some points to comeliness. She is supposed to be a looker. I think she is not so invulnerable as put here, as pointed out earlier, they do seem to take damage and heal it rather than just shrug it off. Maeve is tougher than most but this feels more Honelander level toughness.
Pattern Ghost
Here's Maeve vs. an armored truck: She seems pretty high on the durability scale in the show. And seems to have significant KB resistance.
megaplayboy
The comic book versions have lower resistant DEF compared to their tv counterparts. Homelander's doppelganger is mortally wounded by .50 BMG depleted uranium rounds. The tv version is supposedly invulnerable to conventional weapons. Pattern Ghost
I haven't read the comics, but it seems like there are tons of differences.
Scott Ruggels
Finished the season. Much better than the Second. Kind of a satisfying wrap to the season. The feeling I get, is the the next will be the last. But it's really a look at celebrity culture, and corporate management, and that's the framework of Garth Ennis's disdain for superheroes. Stirling.N
I feel that The Boys takes the point of a group of super-villians with a PR department. Good group for the heroes to fight. Scott Ruggels
